(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25, 2002, the third anniversary of the peaceful appeal of over 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners in Beijing, French Dafa practitioners' peaceful protest in front of Chinese Embassy in France entered the third day.
In the afternoon, Mr. Jean-Marc Brule, Chairman of Asian Committee of French Green Party representing Mr. Noel Mamere, the President of the Green Party and Presidential Candidate, Ms. Dominique Voynet, Secretary of the Green Party and Former Minister of Environment Ministry, and all Green Party members, came to the Dafa practitioners' protest site and expressed the Green Party's firm and full support of Falun Gong.
After a practitioner read aloud an open letter, Mr. Brule delivered a long impromptu speech. He said, "The Jiang regime's most autocratic and brutal suppression of the most peaceful, serene and non-aggressive Falun Gong practitioners in China indicates that Jiang's regime will collapse soon." Regarding the criticism of a local Chinese news media that the Green Party is "anti-China," Mr. Brule emphasized that the Green Party does not oppose the broad and profound Chinese traditional culture but only the Jiang regime's persecution.
Afterwards, the president of the French Falun Dafa Association representing Falun Gong practitioners, especially those being brutally tortured in China, delivered a speech and gave thanks for the first definitive, firm support from a French political party for condemning the Jiang regime's state-sponsored terrorism against Falun Gong practitioners.
One practitioner read a support letter from Mr. Jack Lang, Minister of Education, regarding Zhao Ming's release. He said in the letter, "In your highly laudable efforts for human rights, I always stand with you."
A famous French Sinologist, Ms. Marie Holzman, gave an enthusiastic speech praising Falun Gong practitioners' steadfastness, peacefulness and spirit in safeguarding their belief.
Mr. Brule handed over a letter to Chinese Embassy.
