Short Stories from the Canada Falun Dafa Conference

June 2, 2002 |   By practitioner Yi Jie, Gaoxiong City, Taiwan

(Clearwisdom.net) In May 2002, a Falun Dafa Conference was held in Toronto celebrating the tenth anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the public. During the conference, we encountered some amazing phenomena.

Miraculous Sunset Scenery at Queen's Park

At dusk the day before the conference, a group of Dafa practitioners went to Queen's Park to enjoy the tulips. One practitioner first noticed that the sun in the sky turned into a Falun [Law Wheel] and was turning rapidly. He had other practitioners also take a look. Twenty to thirty practitioners all saw that it was really a Falun turning. Around the Falun were rings of light with golden yellow, purple, red and other colors. Some saw that the Falun was turning rapidly; some clearly saw that the Falun was turning clockwise nine times and then counter-clockwise nine times; some saw figures in the Falun and someone even saw that there was a heavenly ladder hanging from the edge of the Falun. The practitioners at the scene said that before we only heard about practitioners seeing the Falun, but today we really viewed the miraculous scene with our own eyes.

Sudden Hail before the Parade

Hail is rare in this area, especially in May. Some local practitioners had never even encountered hail before. The second day before the parade started, the sky turned dark, and fair sized hails and rain droplets dropped on the practitioners who were gathering together and getting ready for the "Celebrating Ten Years of Falun Dafa's Spreading" grand parade. The hail came in suddenly and the practitioners realized that it was the evil trying to interfere. The practitioners calmed down right away and held their right palms erect eliminating the evil. In less than ten minutes, the hail stopped. The parade started shortly after, and the practitioners kept strong righteous thoughts. Near the end of the parade, the sun shone through the clouds and it got warmer.
