Floods in Southeastern China--20,000 People Trapped

Floods hit the southeast region of Mainland China leaving 20,000 people stranded. With looming torrential rain, the water level could suddenly rise at any time. So far, about 550 lives have already been lost in the disaster.
According to the report from China's official Xinhua News Agency, the forecast for today is torrential rain and rainstorms in Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guizhou Provinces and the Guangxi Autonomous Area. They are all in the eastern and southern regions of China.
