Persecution
I am a practitioner from Anshan City, Liaoning Province. I have been illegally jailed and tortured. Police have punched and kicked me, pulled my hair, banged my head against the wall, shocked me with electric batons, and hung me by the wrists via handcuffs. Currently, I am being held in the Anshan City Forced-Labor Camp.

Master Li will always give us the best. A fellow practitioner began a hunger strike after she was arrested for peacefully appealing for Falun Gong. Using righteous thoughts, she walked out of the detention center she had been brought to. However, her employer fired her and suspended her pension. In addition, her eldest son was forced to quit his job because he was a Falun Gong practitioner. These hardships did not crush her spirit. She continued studying the Fa well, clarifying the truth and sending forth righteous thoughts. Integral to her practice, she looked inward for solutions and to improve her understanding of Falun Dafa principles. As a result, the circumstances of her life gradually improved. Her son's job, which he had been without for two years, was reinstated, and her unjustly withheld pension payments were released.
The lessons learned when clarifying the truth help me realize deeply that cultivation is a serious matter. In the later stages of Fa-Rectification cultivation, what is required of us also becomes more stringent. When facing tribulations and tests, if we still harbor human notions and attachments, it is very easy for various evil elements to take advantage of our omissions, thereby shaking our belief and righteous thoughts in Dafa, which means we cannot assimilate to the fundamental characteristics of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" from a deeper level, let alone fulfill the historic mission of Fa-Rectification entrusted upon us to "Clarify the truth comprehensively, eliminate the evil with the righteous thoughts, offer salvation to all sentient beings and steadfastly safeguard Dafa."
Warnings of Natural and Man-made Disasters
Since April of this year the agriculture in Hunan Province successively suffered three serious floods. The scope, the degree of damage, and the extent of loss as a result of the disasters have rarely been seen in recent years. According to analysis by the Meteorological Department, the probability for serious floods in July is still very high.
