Fa-rectification is proceeding very rapidly, and there is a lot of work to be done. Coordinators of this or that team often say that they are short of people. But everyone is busy, and it is not easy to find help. The team I am working with has now finally made the decision to call for help like many other teams have done. However, when I pause and ponder if we can still be considered to be "peaceful and calm" whenever we feel the pressure from the workload and are anxious to seek external help, I realize then I have forgotten that it is not work, but cultivation.

Teacher reminded us again recently in Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference, "No matter how busy you are, you have to study the Fa." Indeed, studying the Fa well is so important, as righteous thoughts, rationality and wisdom all come from Fa-study.

-- Broaden our minds

Over the course of studying the Fa I have gradually come to realize that all of the substantial things in Fa-rectification are taken care of by Teacher. When we can let go of the attachments of everyday people, and when our understandings and diligence in Fa-rectification and truth-clarification reach a certain level, the tasks that need to be carried out can "naturally" be accomplished. On the surface, it may appear that things come about through our efforts in this dimension, when in fact it is due to many other things that transpire in other dimensions, such as Teacher's forbearing for us, the disintegration of evil elements, and assistance rendered by Buddhas, Taos, and Gods etc. These things even count towards our mighty virtue. Under such circumstances, the purer our intentions and the broader our minds are, the more we will discover our abilities as cultivators to handle matters and increase our capacities, thereby making it easier for us to follow Teacher's compassionate guidance. If everyone can quickly share with the group his breakthroughs in the understanding of the Fa that are related to the group, then the whole team will truly enjoy a good cultivation environment. This is very important, as in such an environment, improvement within the Fa will turn the overwhelming workload that used to leave us no room to breathe into something that is not insurmountable. The few people that began the effort can then complete it well.

On a not so literal note, if we as Dafa disciple cannot accomplish the equivalent workload of 10 or even 100 people, it's time to expand the capacity of our minds.

-- A problem quite likely has more than one solution

Human beings live in a maze, and even cultivators cannot see through the entire maze. Then those practitioners with strong ordinary people's abilities will tend to be more easily mislead by those abilities. They may think that this should be done this way and that needs to be done that way, and many things can be solved by employing a series of efforts and putting in more effort, thus unwittingly treating Dafa work and cultivators as too mundane. Though the willingness to work hard is important and reflects the cultivator's benevolence for other people, as well as dedication towards Dafa; and though human skill is also very important and a favorable condition in preparation for the Fa-rectification, these thoughts may also contain notions, and we can in fact do better. The more notions we have, the more ordinary we become, and the easier we will be affected by ordinary interference. The fewer notions we have, the more supernormal we will be, and ordinary interference won't be able to touch us. In addition, when we can truly let go of our sense of self and look at issues objectively, we will find that "must" is not always the way, and "should" is also not absolute. The better way often appears unexpectedly during our cultivation and leads us to a better result. If we insist on something, we may limit our own wisdom and energy as well as that of others. We will then have to rely on incessantly increasing the manpower. In this way, the addition of ten more people only serves as ten more pair of hands carrying out this one person's idea rather than ten more Fa-rectification disciples with their individual wisdom, righteous thoughts and compassion cultivated through Dafa, who can clarify the truth and offer salvation to sentient beings.

-- Are we really short of hands to clarify the truth?

Teacher said in Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston, "The old forces don't dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What's key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things." With regard to the matter of Fa-rectification, the old forces have made numerous careful arrangements, including having the majority of Dafa disciples situated in Mainland China and only a very small proportion of Dafa disciples in so many countries outside China. However, as for truth-clarification, the old forces dare not interfere. That is to say, as long as we do the three things Teacher requires of us well, the current number of Dafa disciples overseas should be able to strike a balance between Mainland China and abroad sufficiently enough to accomplish the truth clarifying work outside China and assist the work of the Dafa disciples in Mainland China to clarify the truth.

From now on, if we can pay more attention and utilize our wisdom in truth-clarification, so that the truth we tell people can be passed on to others in a domino effect, thereby ridding people of the poisonous lies in their minds, then the amount of manpower that we need won't be an issue.

Of course, when we are busy, we should not forget those fellow practitioners who have yet to fully play the role of Fa-rectification disciples. We need to pay attention to creating favorable conditions for them to break through the constraints of human attachments and notions, and step forward to validate Dafa. This is an important indication that we are improving as one body. When those practitioners who have already stepped forward go looking for practitioners to help, they should do so not because they are in need of help, but rather to create an environment as much as possible for other practitioners to accomplish their historical missions. At that point, we can truly become one body approaching maturity in Fa-rectification cultivation.
