(Clearwisdom.net) Nowadays, good news often comes from China, such as that the Fa-rectification is going remarkably well in certain regions, where many people know that Falun Dafa is good. Even those in the "610 Offices" have started to learn Falun Dafa. At the same time, however, news of evil beings hysterically persecuting practitioners is also frequently heard. Quite a number of practitioners in certain areas even accept the brainwashing under heavy pressure, although it is against their will.

The contradicting news from various sources bewilders me. What on earth is the situation of Fa-rectification in China? Is it good or bad? Why is there such a huge difference?

After reading Master's "Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference," I found the answer to the question. Master says, "Certain cultivators who have grasped Dafa to different degrees are showing different degrees of steadfastness, and how they currently perceive the overall situation of the Fa-rectification is different, too. The different states of their cultivation result in their different perceptions. Some might think the situation is grim; for some people the situation might seem to have already eased up; and some people might think that it's precisely a great opportunity to save sentient beings and clarify the truth. People's different grasps of and comprehension of the Fa lead to different perceptions of the current situation, and all that's happening is targeting different human thoughts. Those who do well will change the environments around them, and those who do poorly will make the environments around them change according to their states of mind. Dafa disciples have different states of mind, so they have different perceptions of the environment, and that's why the way each person acts is different."

We were born in the Fa-rectification period. To assist Master in the Fa-rectification is our mission. At the same time, we are practicing cultivation in the Fa-rectification to eliminate all of the human attachments and reach the standards of gods. The practitioners in some areas have laid a solid foundation in cultivation before the persecution and have a profound comprehension of the Fa. When the tribulation comes, the enlightened part of their nature brings them out of the state of individual cultivation to immerse themselves in the current of safeguarding the Fa. They are further melting away the impurities in themselves in the great tide of the Fa-rectification. In turn they are carried by this tide to a higher and higher level. For the Fa-rectification up to today, they have already passed the test of life and death and met the standard for cultivation, even surpassing the requirements of the old cosmos. The old forces can't touch them anymore. Therefore, to those practitioners, the environment has eased up. They are quite at ease in clarifying the facts and saving people. If some practitioners in one region are doing fine, they will affect the rest of the practitioners in that region to do well as one body. Then the situation of Fa-rectification in that region will be really good.

Yet for some practitioners, their situation is just the opposite. For various reasons, they didn't lay a good foundation in cultivation and have stayed at the surface in their understanding of Dafa. After the persecution started, some of them couldn't step forward for a long time. Some stepped forward with strong human thoughts to validate Dafa. If their human thoughts were not eliminated in time during the Fa-rectification, the old forces took advantage to worsen the persecution. In addition, if they fail to deny the arrangements by the old forces with righteous thoughts and to resist the persecution under the heavy pressure, it is inevitable for them to do things against Dafa. As to those who still can't step forward, the more fear they have, the more severe they perceive the situation to be and the more difficult it is for them to step forward, for all that's happening is the targeting of different human thoughts.

The Fa-rectification has come to the last stage. As Master points out, the fewer of the evil forces remain, the more wildly they rage and more hysterical they get. But in the final analysis, the evil forces are targeting the human thoughts of the practitioners. In a certain period of time and in certain regions, the evil might appear to be unrestrained. But there are various reasons. It might be that the practitioners in that region are doing very well, and the evil forces are just risking everything to do damage. Otherwise, their arrangements might be completely broken and the persecution would not last to the end. On the other hand, it might also be because the practitioners in that region need to improve as one body. No matter what the situation is, it has one thing in common. When the old forces arranged for the evil persecution in remote history, they gave full consideration to factors in various aspects. So they arranged for different practitioners to face different tests according to their individual states. Some practitioners are put in jail, some forced to be homeless, some severely tortured, and some brainwashed. Meanwhile, all this has created an atmosphere of terror for the practitioners not detained, just to see whether their hearts are moved under such a huge pressure that seems to be bringing down the heavens. Nonetheless, no matter how evil the environment is, it is just a play put forth by the old forces. Even though they make a lot of noise, they are only taking advantage of the human thoughts left in us. What they manipulate to directly persecute Dafa practitioners is lower than the lowest rotten demon in the Three-realms that is doing damage to the Fa and is bound to be eliminated. As long as Dafa disciples can have a clear understanding of the nature of the persecution and realize that the key to change the environment is to improve the xinxing level, and at the same time give up any thoughts of self, find out what one's attachments are and eliminate the damaging evil with righteous thoughts, once we reach the different standards of the Fa for us at different levels, there will be a radical change in the environment.

With righteous thoughts and righteous actions, there are no barriers that cannot be swept away.
