One night the local TV station was broadcasting a program about a painting exhibition that slandered Dafa. I started sending righteous thoughts to eliminating the evil behind the broadcast, and the TV lost its reception for the remainder of the program. My husband saw this with his own eyes, and he was shocked.

I visited my mother's home last winter. My father and my younger brother were severely deceived by the evil propaganda. At night I increased the intensity of sending righteous thoughts. The second day, my father was more reasonable. I explained Dafa's benefits and he started to believe in it. But my younger brother's attitude was still skeptical and even hostile. Then, during the day when he was away, I went to his room and sat in the lotus position to send forth righteous thoughts and eliminated quite a bit of evil. That afternoon, when he came back, his attitude started to change, and he even watched the truth-clarifying videotape.

I learned after I came back from my mother's home that the police were arresting people everywhere while I was away. One of my husband's brothers swore at me. After he left, I increased the intensity of sending the righteous thoughts. Fellow practitioners who had been arrested were released after a few days on a hunger strike. Later, the brother-in-law who had sworn at me before changed his attitude toward Dafa and me. He wanted me to teach him the exercises. He even read the book and helped me with a lot of things from the bottom of his heart.

A person of my father's generation did not listen to the truth and slandered Dafa. I sent forth righteous thoughts whenever I saw him, explained the truth to him, and tried my best to help him with a pure intention of offering salvation to him. Later he told me: "I don't believe in what is said on TV; I am not against Falun Gong." He has talked very differently ever since then.
