Radio France International (RFI): One of China's First Satellite Researchers Detained in a Forced Labor Camp
On the morning of January 12th, RFI [Radio France International] reported the following during its Chinese news program to the people in the Paris region and Asian countries, including China:
According to the Falun Dafa Information Centre, Ms. Yang Yueli, a former senior engineer of China's Aeronautics Ministry, was detained in a labor camp because she practiced Falun Gong. Ms. Yang Yueli, now 62 years old, once participated in the research and launch of China's first satellite. Her son in Canada, Mr. Yang Zhendong is appealing to the international community to help rescue his mother as soon as possible.
