Some Thoughts from Reading an Article on "Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts"

Jan. 26, 2003 |   By a practitioner from China

(Clearwisdom.net) After reading a practitioner's article What I have Understood from My Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts, I strongly agree that with different mindsets when sending forth righteous thoughts, the effects are worlds apart.

We should be very serious when sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil, we should not hold the mentality of competitiveness or attachment of complacency. Master told us,

"If you compete and fight like an ordinary person, you are an ordinary person. If you outdo him, you are even worse than that ordinary person." (Zhuan Falun, Chapter 4).

No matter whether it is competitiveness or complacency, we would have to put ourselves down on their same level; otherwise why would we compete with it? Why bother to compete? We shouldn't feel complacent after eliminating it, either.

Master also told us,

"How was the cosmos created? It was created just by a Great Fa Enlightened Being's one thought. ... Those beings are really insignificant in the eyes of that God whose one thought created them." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.")

We must truly be responsibility to the dimensions we are responsible for and eliminate all the evil inside, as they, which are manifested as all types of attachments, are the fundamental reasons for the corruption of our cosmic systems. Moreover, what they have done severely interferes with us and other Dafa disciples. How can beings in a cosmos (small cosmos) interfere, test and persecute the being (Dafa disciple), who created their cosmos (small cosmos)? The heavenly principles do not permit this!

After becoming clear with these Fa principles, I can truly feel the force that Master describes as, "with an air of supremacy and of destroying all evil in the cosmos"("Righteous Thoughts") when sending forth righteous thoughts. Moreover, my mind is very clear, rational, and calm (yet very serious). I feel that nothing can sway me; the evil is nothing and can be eliminated with just a single thought.
