Thirty-eight year old Dr. Li Fengying, a medical staff member of the Fourth Hospital in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, had twice been harassed and intimidated by the Party secretary of the Hospital and others for practicing Falun Dafa. They attempted to coerce her to write a "Guarantee Statement"* not to practice Falun Gong, and threatened to send her to a brainwashing class should she fail to comply.
Around 9:00am on September 10th 2003, while on duty at the hospital, Dr Li was forcibly taken to the Red Satellite Brainwashing Class by order of the Party secretary of the Hospital. She has yet to be released.
