Looking at things from the perspective of Fa-rectification:

Some practitioners even today still think about things from the perspective of individual cultivation, which hinders the progress of Fa-rectification to a certain extent. Below are some examples:

1. A few Dafa practitioners don't agree with tapping into cable TV to air truth clarification programs. They think: how can we tape into the cable TV? Isn't that a bad thing to do? However, they don't realize that many people''s minds have been deeply poisoned. If we don't grasp the limited time to help them learn the truth, many people will be eliminated when Fa rectifies the human world.

2. Some practitioners stay clear of money matters because they are afraid of becoming attached to money. Some practitioners even quit their jobs. One practitioner used up all his savings to make truth clarification materials during the past few years, and his livelihood became a problem. One day, one of his family members who is also a practitioner accidentally won a big prize, tens of thousands of Yuan. However, they felt they could not accept the winnings, that they could not use the money to make truth clarification materials, because they cannot afford to lose virtue. I think this prize was not the result of pursuit. ''If we use it for truth clarification, we can save many people and can help many practitioners in the countryside who cannot print truth clarification flyers due to financial difficulties. The mission to save people endowed to us by history cannot be replaced by anyone. Individual cultivation was laying the foundation for Fa-rectification. If our goals are to rectify the Fa and to save humanity. How can we lose virtue if we put Fa-rectification first?

3. Some practitioners say: If we don't cultivate ourselves well, how can we validate the Fa and clarify the truth? What they mean is they must cultivate to a high level before they can save anyone. In fact, this is talking about individual cultivation. Looking from a higher level and from the perspective of Fa-rectification, it's oriented toward self-interest and placing individual consummation as the prerequisite, which is not what a Fa-rectification Dafa disciple should do. Currently, Fa-rectification has reached a critical stage and Fa-rectification of the human world is imminent. We Dafa practitioners should look at things and think from the perspective of Fa-rectification. We should not stay on the level of individual cultivation.

Wang Shengbiao, a Dafa practitioner in Shijiazhuang City has been holding a hunger strike since he was secretly abducted at the end of July 2003.
