Time Is Running Short, So We Should Do the Three Things Well

Master told us many times in his lectures that Fa-rectification Dafa practitioners should do three things well- we must study the Fa, send forth righteous thoughts, and clarify the truth. Whether we can do these three things well actually depends upon whether we can cultivate ourselves firmly according to the Fa, and upon whether we can deny the standards arranged by the old forces. These three things are correlated, and complement each other. If we are selective in achieving these three things we might not be able to achieve the results that Master expects of us.

A company hired me at the end of last year. I understood in my heart that this company was part of the great environment Master created for my cultivation, clarifying the truth, and saving sentient beings. From the very first day on the job, whenever it was possible, I sent forth righteous thoughts for five minutes every hour. Before I sent forth righteous thoughts I always added one more thought--to eliminate all the evil that impedes people from knowing the truth of the Fa. I used to feel somewhat embarrassed whenever there were many people in the room. Now I realized that any place an activity is held is a good opportunity to send forth righteous thoughts. The more people I meet, the more evil I can eliminate, and therefore the more chances to provide people the opportunity to understand the Fa in a positive way. The events that happened later proved this point.

My company held a charity event. The chairman of the company made a special effort to attend this activity to show his support. Though I was not involved in this event I did attend. I sat in the crowd and sent forth righteous thoughts for a long period of time. The energy field I felt from sending forth righteous thoughts was so strong that I was amazed. I considered talking about Falun Gong with the chairman but I hesitated. I had second thoughts; I thought that it was getting late in the day, and that I would still have many other chances to talk to him. A couple of months later, I heard the news that the chairman had passed away. I was greatly shocked. He was not old and had looked very healthy. As a Dafa practitioner I did not do what I was supposed to do--to grasp any opportunity to clarify the truth. Now I understand that once the chance is gone it is gone forever. If we waste today we will regret tomorrow. Tomorrow is never the same day as today. Every chance we have to do the three things well is truly precious.
