(Clearwisdom.net) Recently fellow practitioners have gone through more sharing and reflection regarding lawsuits against the wicked perpetrators of the persecution. Through sharing, we found that whether Dafa practitioners participate or not, each individual practitioner's every thought is playing an important, decisive role. As long as we are Fa-rectification disciples, we will be tested as a whole. We wondered why we were only in such a situation when we dealt with the lawsuits. Through sharing among the fellow practitioners, we suddenly realized that in fact, this isn't just applicable to the lawsuits but to every project we work on. It's just that in lawsuits, right and wrong are more clearly addressed by the outcome of victory or defeat, and the severity of the persecution is more obvious.
As a matter of fact, although we assign ourselves to different projects, the evil does not deal with us according to different projects. Every project tests us as a whole, and every project being successful or not manifests the attitude of our whole body towards that project. This is reflected at this human dimension as the following. If we think doing media work is something that only the media group is concerned with, then what is reflected in this dimension is that the media team's work will not be very successful, and few journalists will come to our press conferences. If we all think that doing the TV project is only the responsibility of TV teams, then what is reflected in this dimension is our TV programs not having a good effect on clarifying the truth or few people watching the programs. If we all treat clarifying the truth to Chinese people as only the work of chat room teams or faxing teams, then what is reflected in this dimension would be great difficulties in breaking through the information blockade in China. If we regard sending forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese embassy or consulate as some type of duty to "clock-in" for or other people's matter, then what is reflected in this dimension would be many forms of problems and interference.
When we as individuals regard projects that are not assigned to ourselves as other people's things, our whole body would be unwittingly divided into many small pieces, and the powerful strength as a whole would be weakened into scattered pockets of strength. Moreover, when we have different opinions or have arguments, we would further weaken each other's strength.
The purpose for dividing up the task of saving sentient beings into different projects is merely for the sake of convenience in doing the work, rather than intentionally forming divisions. We should still be one whole body and we should be able to form one whole body at anytime or anywhere -- that's what the right state should be. We may have different understandings of the Fa due to our different cultivation levels. These differences should not weaken us, but instead strengthen us. We should be going in the same direction together and supporting each other. We should be concerned about everything as if it were our own, have a clear understanding on every issue and understand things based on the Fa as much as we can, so that we don't form any divisions within our whole body. Only by accomplishing this can we keep up with the progress of Fa-rectification. Otherwise, there is no need for the evil to try to split us, as we would have already divided ourselves into many pieces. Isn't this a big omission? Furthermore, we should place an emphasis on studying the Fa and take care not to neglect Fa study because we're busy. Our righteous thoughts and righteous actions come from the Fa. The evil wants to make us too busy to have time for studying the Fa, causing us to be separated from the Fa of our own accord. In mainland China, the way that the evil persecutes Dafa practitioners is to make it impossible for them study the Fa and practice the exercises through force, leading to their being separated from the Fa. When it comes to overseas practitioners, the evil makes us busy to the point where it seems that we have no time to study the Fa. Some practitioners are interfered with to the point where their main consciousnesses are not strong enough to pick up the books to study the Fa, making us unknowingly accept the persecution.
At the final moment of the Fa-rectification, we must perfectly harmonize with and replenish each other to form a whole body that is free of omissions. The whole universe will be perfect and all encompassing, and it will be composed of particles that are in accordance with the Fa. If anything impure gets in, then the universe will no longer be pure, and that is not allowed in the new universe. Therefore we must have strict requirements for ourselves. Every project in the Fa-rectification is the responsibility of every Fa-rectification disciple. For projects that we cannot participate in, we should still look at them with righteous thoughts, so as to prevent the negating of our strength.
"The next person's things are your things, and your things are his things." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference, July 22, 2002") The manifestation of this is not the mutual concern and unity that everyday people talk about, but our attitudes of being responsible for the Fa, and the minimum requirement for us as righteous beings who must be responsible for the righteous elements of the universe.
My own level is limited, so please point out anything improper.
Well said. Each person's cultivation path is different, the way in which each validates the Fa is different, their social statuses are different, their occupations are different, and their -surroundings are different, but they can all cultivate nevertheless. This is the path Dafa presents to its cultivators. Dafa disciples are one body, and I affirm everything they have been doing during Fa-rectification–they are all doing what Dafa disciples should do. Different approaches are in fact the all-encompassing way in which roles are dynamically distributed in the operations of the Fa, and the Fa-power is a reflection of the one body.
