My Understanding of "Just Do Everything A Dafa Disciple Should Do"

I recently came to enlighten to a deeper meaning of this sentence.

At the 2003 Singapore Spring Festival Merchandise Exhibition, our local practitioners successfully held nine days of activities in a noble manner. We demonstrated the exercises, sang Dafa songs, and showed the film "Falun Dafa Flourishes all Over the World" (both in Chinese and English). We put a lot of effort into this activity. However, because of a mistake by the organizers, not many people attended this exhibition. As a result, some practitioners have different viewpoints on our effectiveness in promoting Dafa. The following is my own understanding regarding this issue.

One day after finishing our work at the exhibit, one practitioner and I together took the subway back home. During our conversation on the subway, I came to understand one level of the Fa.

She was born and raised in Singapore and had received her education in English. When I looked at her calm and young face, hearing her not so fluent Chinese, I started wondering, "She has put so much effort into Dafa work. After finishing her Dafa work, she would not return home until midnight at the earliest. She would still need to practice the exercises, and have to work the next morning. I wonder if she has truly understood the importance of Dafa work from the Fa or is she just going along with the other practitioners to do the work without genuinely understanding the Fa's principles?"

As I talked with her, my doubts disappeared. It turned out that she is the only one in her family who practices Falun Gong. Her parents not only do not practice, but also strongly oppose her practice due to the influence from fabricated rumors spread by the mainland Chinese media. They had even invited her uncle who has been a Communist Party Member in Mainland China for several years to their home in Singapore, as an attempt to coerce her into giving up her practice. They even went so far as to threaten to disown her.

This young woman resisted all the pressure and persisted in her cultivation in Dafa. On the surface, things seemed very calm, but in other dimensions, wasn't this a battle between the righteous and the evil? If in the future she has an opportunity to help her parents understand the truth, the evil that fabricates lies and seed hatred in people's hearts will no longer be able to hide. Therefore righteousness would manifest its power to eliminate evil. We talk about rejecting the arrangements of the old forces. Isn't this a living example? Maybe this practitioner did not realize the profound implications of the Fa's principles while she was doing this, however she simply knows that Dafa is good and that there is nothing wrong with learning and practicing something that is good.

From this, we can see that Dafa work is quite simple. As long as we persevere and persist in doing it in this human dimension, we are rejecting the arrangements of the old forces and eliminating the evil from the immense universe.

Retrospectively, although our practitioners' work at the exhibit looked ordinary, or perhaps seemed as if it did not have a very widespread effect on the surface, isn't it shaking the earth and rocking the mountains if seen in the firmament? Therefore we cannot only look at the surface, because the human dimension is a dimension of illusions.

I now understand Teacher's words: "Don't underestimate your sending even one flyer or one booklet to China, making one phone call there, or sending one fax there, or sending all sorts of information--the effect is quite significant, and its effect in frightening and eliminating the evil is huge, truly huge." ("Touring North America to Teach the Fa")

I have also come to understand a deeper meaning of the sentence:

"Get rid of any attachment you have, and don't think about anything. Just do everything a Dafa disciple should do, and everything will be covered".

The above is just my personal understanding. Please point out anything that is inappropriate.
