"Originally they wanted to treat us the way religions were treated in the past. Their warped notions have made them think that the persecution of Gods in history was rightful. Incidents such as Jesus being nailed to the cross have become the precedent for high-level beings who come down to save people. How could this be acceptable? This itself is degenerate! A God comes down to save people, yet humans nail him to a cross--what a huge sin people have committed! They are still paying for it today. But that wasn't done by human beings alone. It was caused by the degeneration of beings at higher levels."

In the period of over three years of Fa-rectification period cultivation, there has always existed the situation of Dafa practitioners being tortured to death due to the persecution, and this situation has become even worse since the beginning of this year. The existence of this situation results from the old forces' arrangements, which is interference with and sabotage of the Fa-rectification. We Dafa practitioners should never acknowledge and must reject this arrangement.

1. In my opinion, we must understand that our bodies are precious life carriers that enable us to participate in Fa-rectification period cultivation and to save sentient beings. Master has told us that today's humans were created for the spreading of Dafa. Only with human bodies can we, while assimilating ourselves to Dafa, save the numerous beings in our cosmic systems that have placed their infinite hopes in us. Only with human bodies can we save people whose true lives may come from high levels in the universe. It is because of the incomparable preciousness of human bodies that the evil old forces use our bodies to relentlessly persecute us to achieve their goal of interfering with and damaging Fa-rectification, and ruining sentient beings.

A very few Dafa practitioners, while being severely tortured by the police and suffering unimaginable pain, had some human thoughts, such as losing their bodies and freeing themselves from suffering. When this mentality occurs, it creates a loophole that could be taken advantage of by the evil old forces, and this may lead to some practitioners being tortured to death. Master said in Zhuan Falun,

"There is another principle in our universe: If you pursue or want something, others are not willing to interfere."

(Lecture Three of Zhuan Falun).

Master further said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A."

"...this law holds in both the old cosmos and the new one: a being's choice is up to him, even if he made some kind of vow in history. At critical moments it's still up to him what he wants to do. And this goes for things that are positive and negative--it's the case for both."

Therefore, as I understand it, among the practitioners who were tortured to death, their lack of understanding of Dafa (inadequate righteous thoughts) and the existence of human mentalities (getting rid of physical pain by losing the human bodies) also contributed to their death. (Editor's note: Of course, regardless of any shortcomings of cultivators, the evil's persecution against practitioners using any excuse absolutely cannot be tolerated or accepted.)

Fa-rectification has reached the present stage, and these episodes cannot continue to happen. We are in the period of the Fa rectifying the universe, and all beings in the cosmos are targets for Fa-rectification and salvation, which, of course, include the old forces. Therefore, we must eradicate all of the old forces' arrangements, including their arrangement of torturing some Dafa practitioners to death. In "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.," Master said,

"... we can't acknowledge the arrangements that the old forces made for us, no matter what they did, because they, too, are candidates for being saved, ..."

[...]

"...even if sometime in history you did sign some kind of pact, if today your righteous thoughts are very strong, you don't recognize it, and you insist on not taking part in it, then you can in fact reject it."

[...]

"...you have to follow the requirements of Dafa and the Fa-rectification. " 'I absolutely will not acknowledge any of those things you arranged in the past, old forces. I don't even acknowledge you.' When your righteous thoughts are very strong you can purge it and you can reject their arrangements. And that's because we absolutely cannot acknowledge them."

2. Our Consummation is to be in an open and dignified manner and it is the Consummation of the whole body of Dafa practitioners. With Fa-rectification still going on, the premature ending of human lives prevents us from satisfactorily fulfilling our historic mission. Nonetheless, Master's infinite benevolence still allows these practitioners to reach Consummation. However, this does not mean that we should allow the arrangements by the old forces; instead, we should take it as motivation for us to be more diligent in further rejecting all the old forces' arrangements.

What I have talked above is just my personal understanding in my level. I ask fellow Dafa practitioners to point out anything that is improper.
