Non-Practitioner's Commentary: for Falun Gong to appeal is reasonable and legal. Appeal is a citizens' right endowed by the Chinese Constitution. In many places in China, however, the appeal seekers are not only rejected, they are treated as criminals. The most serious of this kind of injustice is the police's treatment of Falun Gong practitioners.

Before October 1, 2002, Jiang Zemin, along with the Chinese government, passed down an internal document, which stated three kinds of people are not allowed to appeal, and the list included Falun Gong practitioners. This is a blatant violation of the constitution. Falun Gong practitioners are arrested, beaten, sent to prison and labor camps if they appeal, and some have even been tortured to death by police. Jiang Zemin's persecution and suppression of Falun Gong completely went against the constitution of China, and the means used are very brutal and evil. Jiang's hands are stained with the blood of innocents. China is now at a crossroads. Peacefully solving the Falun Gong issue has great significance for the establishment of a legal system and for the economic development in China.

News From China

Right now, at least 200 determined Dafa practitioners are still being detained at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Collaborators have body-searched those practitioners who were kidnapped most recently and then sent them directly to a brainwashing class. [Collaborators are former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to torture and brainwashing] Each determined practitioner is surrounded by two to three collaborators on a daily basis who instill in them lies and slander, day and night. Practitioners who hold hunger strikes are force-fed and charged a large amount of money.
