Teacher said in Zhuan Falun: "Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master. It is good enough if you have this wish. It is the master who actually does this, as you are simply unable to do it." During the years of my cultivation, every step and test that I went through was absolutely successful as long as I followed Teacher's requirements. Otherwise, I would have taken a crooked path. The following are a few events that happened during my path of Fa-rectification.
Escape from Security Guards
In March of 2001, I went to validate the Fa in Beijing with a few fellow practitioners. However, the policemen at Tiananmen Square began to follow me as soon as I arrived. The minute I dodged one of them, another one appeared. Before I could do anything, I was thrown into a police car.
I met many fellow practitioners at the police station. Together we studied the Fa, did exercises and shared our experiences, during which a fellow practitioner said, "There is no way for me to stay here. I must escape and continue my efforts in Fa-rectification." I agreed with her.
During the two days of detention, the Fa that Teacher taught us kept flashing in my mind: "Unless you, yourself do not want to do so, you can make it, provided you want to overcome them." (Zhuan Falun) On the morning of the third day, a guard asked another practitioner and I to do some cleaning, asking me to clean the lobby and yard. The guard constantly watched me. I thought it was a good opportunity for me to escape and that I shouldn't miss it. At that time, a girl who worked inside the building asked the guard to come in. I hurried out, got into a taxi and went to Tiananmen Square. There weren't many people on the Square yet. I went to the foot of the Tiananmen Gate Tower and began to do my exercises to validate the Fa.
I Will Be Back in Three Days
I went to Beijing to validate the Fa again in December 2002. I left a note at home before I left: "I am going out of town to take care of something. I will be back in three days." On my way to Beijing, I kept strong righteous thought, a clear mind, and didn't allow any loopholes for the evil forces at any moment. As a result, I finally broke out of the police station at 11:45 p.m. on the third day. It was the policemen who sent us away. When we got out of the car, the policemen happily said, "You are free!"
We could only get a train ticket for the next afternoon. The next morning I didn't want to waste any precious time, and went back to Tiananmen Square to make best use of this opportunity to rectify the Fa with my fellow practitioners. Suddenly, I heard "Falun Dafa is great" from behind me. I didn't turn around, but shouted, "Falun Dafa is righteous!"
I turned and saw a female practitioner holding a banner. Two policemen grabbed her hands. One of them pointed at me a few times with his finger. I glanced at him but ignored his gesture. He didn't come to get me. When I turned around and walked away, an undercover policewoman came over and asked, "Are you a Dafa practitioner? I am here to pick up my fellow practitioners." I knew she was lying. I replied, "I am here on business," and kept walking, ignoring her. At this time, an armed policeman came over and asked, "Do you practice Falun Gong?" I didn't answer him. He tried to stop me and asked me questions. I sternly asked him in reply, "Can't I come to Tiananmen Square? Do all the people on the Square practice Falun Gong? Are you saying all these people practice Falun Gong?" I wouldn't say anything more to him after I finished. He called for a police car several times, but the policemen in the cars ignored him. He had to walk away gloomily. I fulfilled my wish one more time.
Nobody Can Force on Me Anything I Don't Want
One morning in February of 2002, after I had been illegally detained for more than half a year, the people detaining me suddenly decided to send us practitioners to forced labor "reeducation." I immediately thought, "I won't go. It isn't a place I should be in. Nobody can force anything on me I don't want." I found the case handler and those in charge of the detention center, reasoned with them, and clarified the truth about Dafa.
Of these people, some knew they had done wrong and kept silent, some evilly cursed Dafa. My fellow practitioners and I shouted, "Eliminate the evil! Suffocate the evil!" Though I had been on hunger strike for three days, my voice was still booming and shook the detention center.
We were escorted out of the detention center. While waiting for the others, we took the opportunity to clarify the truth about Dafa and recited "On Buddha Law" to the escorting policemen. They were shaken and didn't know what to say. When everyone was gathered into the van, we recited Fa principles, shocking the evil. The van pulled over at another detention center. Some more Dafa practitioners, who were also to be sent to a forced labor camp, got in. As we were leaving, I heard a fellow practitioner clarifying the truth about Dafa to a crowd. A thought came to mind, "We are one entity. We must rectify the Fa and suffocate the evil together." I started talking out the van window and joined that practitioner's efforts.
At the forced labor camp, we were asked to sign in. I thought, "I shouldn't follow the evil's commands. Nobody can force me to do anything I don't want to do." I sternly refused to cooperate with their demands. Next was a medical exam. A group of people in the camp was having lunch when I entered the metal gate. I immediately shouted, "Falun Dafa is great! Falun Dafa is righteous!" My deafening voice seemed to have broken the deadly silence in the camp.
During the entire trip from the detention center to the forced labor camp, we clarified the truth and recited the Fa. The escorting policemen seemed to be too afraid to stop us. We played the main roles in this play. The medical exam results came out. My health was too poor for me to be accepted by the camp. As a matter of fact, it was our great and compassionate Teacher who had helped me break out of that demon's den one more time.
