A Prisoner Head says, "I Feel Sorry To See Any Dafa Practitioner Arrested."

April 3, 2003 |   By A Dafa Practitioner in North-East China

(Clearwisdom.net) In November of 2002, I was illegally detained in a detention center room for female prisoners. The policeman who brought me told the room head (who is also a prisoner), "'Educate' her as best as you can." [implying " beat her as best her as you can"] A prisoner in the detention asked, " What kind of crime has she committed?" The policeman replied, "She is a Falun Gong practitioner." I was then pushed into the room for female prisoners. The room head looked at my injured legs that had been beaten by the police. Seeing this, she blamed the policeman who tortured me. One prisoner supported me, helping me to sit on the floor. Another prisoner found an extra pair of shoes for my bare feet, and she asked me, "Have you had your meal yet?" My eyes flooded with tears because I felt happy for them--for their right choice.

The room head said, "At the beginning, I didn't know what Falun Gong was. All the prisoners and Dafa practitioners here were beaten alike. But as I came into contact with more Dafa practitioners, I saw that they never complained and they held no hatred. I saw them always giving the best things to others. We have seen these things, and we have admired you truly in our hearts. In my heart, I remember each of your individual words and every single action. You are not prisoners here, and haven't committed any crime. It is not necessary to monitor you. You can study the Fa, and practice the five sets of exercises of Falun Gong. Do you know that I also practice Falun Gong! The Dafa practitioners who were detained here before taught me how to practice. I feel sorry to see any Dafa practitioner arrested. How ridiculous to send good people to jail!"

The room head said she used to have a bad temper. When the prisoners had conflicts, she would either abuse or beat them. But Dafa practitioners told her--every time that she abused or beat other people, what was manifesting was a sort of demon-nature. Doing that will give other people de [de --"virtue," "merit"; which can even be seen on another level as a precious white substance]. This de is given away from the body of the person who commits the cruelty. Catching herself in such a violent moment, the room head would say, "Oh! I forget," She told the prisoners, "From now on, I will treat you better than I once did. Before, you were beaten every day. From now on, I will not beat you, and I will not abuse you." The room head told me that a Dafa practitioner whose name was unknown died because the forced feeding by police went down her esophagus and into her lungs. On the night of the Dafa practitioner's death, one prisoner had a dream that she saw this Dafa practitioner was a Buddha sitting on a Lotus flower and in this dignified manner she flew away. In the prison, they all thought that the Dafa practitioners were not everyday people, but truly extraordinary people."

When I was going to leave, the prisoner head said that she would neither do anything bad, nor would she persecute Dafa practitioners. She asked for me, after I left the prison, to clarify the truth of Falun Gong to her mother, to send Zhuan Falun (The principal book of Falun Gong) to her, and to ask her to practice Falun Gong, to let her know that her daughter wished for her to practice Falun Gong.

When I was leaving the prison, those prisoners held my hands with tears. I knew their great, benevolent hearts.
