Ambassador Zou,
On behalf of Swedish Falun Dafa practitioners we wrote this letter to you because we believe you are a man of reason. This letter contains information about the international lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, some of his collaborators and the 610 Office for genocide and other serious crimes. During the persecution of Falun Gong, even officials like you are being persecuted because Jiang Zemin coerced all of you to listen to his lies about Falun Gong and he forced you to hurt your own countrymen against your own sense of right and wrong.
Before proceeding further we want to assure you once again that we are not against the Chinese government, but we are against Jiang Zemin's persecution of Falun Gong.
During the past four years we have been trying to appeal you but you would not even receive our letter. Perhaps you are just obeying orders; perhaps you are just doing your job. It does not really matter. What really matters is that many innocent Chinese people have suffered enormously during these four years. The degree of sufferings your own countrymen have endured is beyond your imagination. Maybe you already know the facts, maybe not. Even this does not really matter. What really matters is, if from now on the Chinese people start to listen to their own consciences and help put a stop to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
The Chinese have a saying that "good will be rewarded with good and evil with be met with evil." Please look around at the things that are happening now. This old Chinese saying is true.
Currently, with the help of human rights lawyers and legal experts, Falun Gong practitioners in the USA and Europe have sued Jiang Zemin and several top Chinese officials for crimes ranging from torture to genocide. In China, Falun Gong practitioners have been subjected to illegal arrest and imprisonment -- often resulting in torture until death, abuse in mental hospitals, and long jail and labour camp sentences without trial. Women are raped while in prison, children are deprived of their parents and rights to attend school, people have lost their jobs and been forced to flee their homes, and families are torn apart. All governments in Europe know the facts. Chinese officials abroad should stop making fools of themselves by denying the truth when they talk to Western governments.
The crimes committed by Jiang Zemin and his Gestapo-like 610 offices are not only comparable to those committed by Milosevic and Pinochet, they are even worse because he has deceived a whole nation of Chinese people, wasted their hard-earned money to persecute the innocent and brought disgrace to the Chinese people. Meanwhile basic duties of the government, like providing health care and protecting the people against criminals are being neglected.
Despite the persecution, Falun Dafa has spread to more than 60 countries all over the world and is still reaching more countries, because Falun Dafa is good. Good will always prevail. Falun Dafa is actually good for any country. You can see for yourself that no true leader in any other country treats Falun Dafa practitioners the way Jiang Zemin does. Tragically, the last Chinese government has lost a golden opportunity to benefit from Falun Dafa, which teaches people to be good.
As Falun Dafa practitioners, we abide by the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and do not bear bitterness or hatred for being wronged. The future is important. It is our wish that righteousness will prevail and the freedom to practice Falun Dafa will soon return to China.
Thank you,
Yours sincerely,
Falun Dafa Practitioners in Sweden
