The month-long signature collection at W rzburg, to rescue Xiong Wei and Dafa practitioners' friends and relatives in China, has entered the second week. Practitioners realized that the signature collection had to be united with the global lawsuit against Jiang, so that the evil people could be exposed, people's sense of justice could be aroused, and the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners could be stopped.

At the site where the signature collection took place, practitioners hung a banner which read "Jiang Zemin is being sued for committing Genocide" so that everyone could see it. Practitioners prepared another signature collection form to ask for support in bringing Jiang Zemin to justice via a public trial. This form was placed on the desk beside the signature collection form for rescuing Xiong Wei, a Berlin university student who was imprisoned in China for handing out leaflets exposing the persecution of Falun Gong.

Practitioners were aware that they needed to tell as many people as possible about Jiang's public prosecution. It was really hot last Saturday, but there were many people who approached us. After they found out who Jiang Zemin is and why we must be brought to justice, they all signed their name without hesitation. There was often several people waiting in line to sign their names. Practitioners felt that once they had explained why Jiang is being sued, people easily understood how relentless the persecution is and why practitioners need to urgently rescue their relatives and friends in China.

When several youths from America walked by they saw the exhibition boards and asked us about them. When they learned that practitioners were collecting signatures to support the prosecution against Jiang and to rescue persecuted practitioners in China, they immediately signed their names. They also asked for information about Falun Dafa websites so that they could find out more about Dafa activities in Seattle.

Two German cyclists also stopped to investigate the activities. One of them said, "I support your actions. Such a person (Jiang) should be taken to trial." He signed his name immediately. In an emotional tone, the other one said, "Your suffering is our suffering. I support your activity for justice. I would like to give my signature, too."

The practitioners talked about Jiang's public trial to every person they met. A 78-year-old German lady, who started to practice Dafa about a year ago, handed out flyers all day long. She also explained the facts of Dafa's persecution and Jiang's trial to passers-by, a lot of whom signed their names. People were deeply moved by her actions.

By the end of the day, about 500 signatures were collected. The signature collection activity will continue for the next two weeks. As more and more people realize the facts, the end of this evil persecution is getting closer.
