Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiaoru from Handan City, Hebei Province Murdered by Vicious Policeman Wang Haizhen

June 17, 2003

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiaoru from Handan City, Hebei Province was abducted on February 27, 2003 by Chinese policemen while handing out truth clarification materials. Policeman Wang Haizhen and some other unidentified police later brutally beat her to death.

On February 27, 2003, Ms. Zhang and another fellow practitioner went to Zhao Village of Puyang City, Henan Province to courageously distribute truth-clarification materials. They were arrested and taken to the Daqing Road Police Substation. Later that day the practitioners were sent to the Wenhualong District police station and then escorted to the Puyang City Police Department. The practitioners were under the control of Wang Haizhen, the deputy chief of the special team in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. It was reported that those two practitioners were very firm and refused to yield during the brutal interrogation. The police became very angry and tortured the practitioners using a variety of awful methods. Ms. Zhang died after falling from sixth floor of Puyang City Police Department building. The other practitioners' current situation is unknown.

The details of Ms. Zhang's death are yet to be investigated. We hope that people who know the situation can provide relevant information.

Wang Haizhen is reported as having extreme hatred towards Falun Dafa and practitioners. He often leads his morally corrupt cohorts to practitioners' hometowns or home villages to search out innocent practitioners. He often confiscates practitioners' personal property, money, valuables, computers and automobiles. The practitioners are forced to pay a lot of money to get their own personal items returned to them. Wang Haizhen often extorted money, consumer products, gifts, and gasoline coupons, with value ranging from one hundred to ten thousand Yuan from detained practitioners' families. (Note: An average urban Chinese worker's monthly wage is about 500 Yuan.)
