[Changchun City, Jilin Province] Many Falun Dafa Practitioners in Changchun, Jilin Province Illegally Sentenced to Jail
Many Falun Dafa practitioners in Changchun were illegally sentenced to jail for up to 8 to 10 years. Liu Zhe and Xiang Xiaomin were sent to Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp for further torture and abuse. Liu Yaqian, Ma Yechi, Zhao Guifeng, Wang Liping and Liu Xiue are still being illegally held in Shuangyang No. 3 Detention Center. During the "Two Congresses" in February, large-scale arrests of Dafa practitioners were initiated throughout Jilin Province. Police illegally ransacked the homes of all those practitioners, whose names were on a blacklist. The practitioners from various areas, who had been sentenced to re-education through forced labor were sent by truck to the forced labor camps in Changchun City.
[Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Yang Guihua in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province Illegally Arrested by Police
Thirty-nine year old Ms. Yang Guihua is a Falun Dafa practitioner. On the morning of June 5, 2003, right after she left her home, policemen from the No.1 Police Department in Lanzhou City illegally arrested her. While arresting her, the policemen showed her an "Arrest Warrant" and illegally ransacked her house at the Xizhan. It may be inferred that before her arrest, the police had followed her for a long time. Currently, Yang Guihua's whereabouts are unknown.
[Yidu City, Hubei Province] Zhao Jucai, a Falun Dafa Practitioner in Yidu City, Hubei Province Illegally Arrested at Home by Police from Honghua Police Station
On May 16, 2003, Yidu City's 610 Officials ransacked Zhao Jucai's home and found some Falun Dafa books and tapes. Using this as an excuse, police from the Honghua Police Station in Yidu City illegally broke into Zhao's home on May 27. Five or six people forcibly pulled Zhao into a car and took him away. Zhao firmly believes in Dafa, and is therefore still being illegally held in Yidu City.

[Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Police Destroy Dafa Material Sites in Zhoukou City, Henan Province
On May 22, the Dafa materials production site in Zhoukou City was destroyed. Equipment including computers and copy machines and a large quantity of truth-clarifying booklets were all confiscated. The loss was tremendous. The materials distribution site was also searched. More than ten Dafa practitioners were arrested. Police released some practitioners as bait in an attempt to find and arrest other Dafa practitioners.

Police illegally arrested and detained Cai Hongbo in Anshan City's No.1 Detention Center. Recently, Qianshan District Court has been planning to hold an illegal trial to sentence him and escalate the persecution. The people involved in persecuting Cai Hongbo were officials from the first division of Anshan City's Police Department including Sun Aiguo, Kang Kai, Li Xiang, Chen Song, Fu Gang, Guo Wei and Lu Zhuang, and officials from No. 1 Detention Center including Tang Minzhong (whose police id number is 301786) and Xu Wenge.

A Dafa materials production site in Anshan City, Liaoning Province was destroyed by police. One practitioner was illegally arrested, and the other one escaped using righteous thoughts. The final extent of the material loss is still unknown.
[Siping City, Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Han Cuiyan in Siping City, Jilin Province Suffers Mental Collapse From Torture She Received
Ms. Han Cuiyan was illegally sent to a forced labor camp after July 20, 1999. She suffered inhumane torture while she was held in Changchun Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. There, she was tortured by being tied to the "death bed" (Note: The four limbs of the practitioner are spread out and tied to the four corners of an icy-cold metal bed. The practitioner cannot move at all, and is not allowed to get up to eat, drink, or go to the bathroom.) and was brutally beaten by criminal prisoners. She was tied to the iron bed for days and nights. After having been tortured and confined in a small cell, she suffered mental collapse and was committed to Siping City's Mental Hospital.
[Wuwei, Gansu Province] Li Qingwei, a Dafa Practitioner in Wuwei, Gansu Province was Illegally Arrested by Chen Fenggang and Other Policemen
In early June, policeman Chen Fenggang from the Wuwei (Liangzhou) Security Team broke into Li Qingwei's home in Fafang Town and searched it illegally. They found truth-clarifying materials, which were hidden by Li Qingwei in 2000 when he had gone to Beijing to peacefully appeal for Falun Dafa. Police arrested Li Qingwei.
[Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Qiu Sihui in Anshan, Liaoning Province Subjected to Torture During Illegal Detention
At the end of 2001, Qiu Sihui was illegally arrested by police from Tiedong District Shengli Police Station in Anshan City. In order to resist harassment by the police, she jumped from the building resulting in a broken hip. Even before she had a chance to recover fully, police from Tiedong District's Changqing Police Station arrested her again when she was walking on the street in September 2002. In early 2003, the Tiedong District Court illegally sentenced her to 8 years in jail on trumped up charges. She was held in Anshan City's No. 1 Detention Center. During her illegal detention, she was in poor physical condition. Her broken hip aggravated her condition. Her illness became more severe, and she was unable to walk. She has been confined to bed, and has not been able to take care of herself. We hope that all just people in the world will work together to stop the persecution against her.

Ms. Song Meixiang, was illegally arrested on May 31, 2003 by police in Chibi City when she was distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials near Chibi City's Pufang Group Hospital. She is now being held in Chibi City's No.1 Detention Center.

According to the reliable sources, the "610 Office" in Nanchong City constructed a special building as a brainwashing center. They planned to gather all the registered Dafa practitioners in various counties and districts in Nanchong City. Each county was required to compile at least 40 Dafa practitioners' data, and sent them to the "610 Office" in Nanchong City by a certain deadline.
[Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] The "610 Office" and Police in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province Launch Another Campaign to Rampantly Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioners
On June 5, 2003, four Dafa practitioners in Haigang District in Qinhuangdao City were arrested because they distributed truth-clarifying materials. More than 10 Dafa practitioners in Shanhaiguan were arrested and two materials production sites were ransacked. On the night of June 7, a third materials production site in Haigang District was ransacked, and four Dafa practitioners were arrested. A big lesson to be learned from this example is that the practitioners at the sites had disagreed with each other for a long time. They failed to look inside themselves, and they moved from place to place without settling down.
