[Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Two Dafa Practitioners Sentenced to 15 and 19 Years of Imprisonment Respectively
Mr. Han Li, a postdoctoral student from the Harbin Industrial University, was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment for persisting in Falun Dafa cultivation.
Mr. Zhang Yueming, a resident from Hegang City, was sentenced to 19 years of imprisonment for broadcasting truth-clarifying footage on cable TV.
[Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Li Jinfeng's Life is in Danger from Torture at Handan City's Forced Labor Camp
Practitioner Mr. Li Jinfeng was forced to lead a homeless life to avoid persecution and lived in a fellow practitioner's home in Ningjin County, Hebei Province. Mr. Li was arrested while constructing truth-clarifying materials. He is now detained at Handan City's Forced Labor Camp. At present, he has been tortured so severely that he is extremely emaciated. In addition, due to the torture, he has three fractured ribs and swelling in his stomach. He can hardly walk, and his life is in grave danger.
[Weihai City, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Luu Guiling is Staging a Hunger Strike; Her Life is in Danger
Practitioner Ms. Luu Guiling, 42 years old, is a resident of Jiangjiazai Village, Weihai City. During a large-scale raid to round up Falun Gong practitioners in April 2002, she was taken to Weihai City's Detention Center. Later on, along with other practitioners, she staged a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Over a dozen practitioners had been arrested at that time and most of them staged a hunger strike. Police tied those practitioners to metal chairs and exposed them to the baking sun. A few days later, police started to brutally force-feed them. The Dafa practitioners remained unmoved. Seeing that this means of torture didn't work, police then attempted to undermine Dafa practitioners' righteous thoughts through psychological tricks, but they failed again. In the end, practitioners who had staged a hunger strike were released one after another. Ms. Luu left after refusing food and drink for over a month. The authorities in the detention center told personnel in a police station, "In the future, when you arrest a Falun Gong practitioner, you should firstly ask him/her whether he will eat. If not, don't bring them in."
Luu was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution and did truth-clarifying work together with fellow practitioners. In January 2003, she was arrested again and sent to Weihai City Detention Center. All along during this period, Luu Guiling was refusing food and drink. At the beginning of June, she was sent to Weihai City's Municipal Hospital for emergency treatment. Some practitioners went and visited her. She was lying in bed, emaciated and on the verge of death, but she was still shackled and handcuffed. After fellow practitioners discovered her condition, they have been sending righteous thoughts to remove the evil factors in other dimensions that are behind her persecution.
It's said that Luu was sent back to the detention center for persecution. Her current situation is unknown.

On May 24, 2003, perpetrators from the Security Section of Anshan City Police Department illegally arrested a homeless Dafa practitioner and confiscated all of his belongings. The lawless policemen brutally beat the Dafa practitioner up because he refused to cooperate with their unreasonable requests. These inhumane persecutors actually tossed this Dafa practitioner into the wilderness after he was tortured into a coma.

Mr. Chen Xianzhang, about 70 years old, a Dafa practitioner from Guangzhou City, is a retired engineer from Guangdong Province's Education College. Because he firmly believes in Falun Dafa, he has been detained at various brainwashing classes. After several imprisonments, nobody even knows where he is detained currently. The latest information we have tells us that he was detained at Guangzhou City's Shijin Brainwashing Center. His blood pressure is very high, but "610 Office" personnel forbid him from seeing a doctor and even forbid him from talking with anyone.
*"610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
