The police from the Erxianqiao Police Department in Chenghua District, Chengdu City sent approximately a dozen practitioners to forced labor. Recently they have been illegally following Dafa practitioners. Nearly 100 Dafa practitioners are being detained long-term at the Pi County Detention Center in Chengdu City and are in a very difficult situation. 1. An elderly woman practitioner in China was abducted from home and was sent to a brainwashing center to be persecuted. After she was taken away, her neighbors saw two undercover police standing outside the gate watching her home everyday. Neighbor A said to them, "There are so many thieves. Why don't you arrest those bad people? You are instead taking the old woman. She is a well-known good person who always donated the most money to people who suffered disasters and she always helped those in need..." Neighbor B said, "Her health used to be quite poor, but she has become quite healthy after practicing Falun Gong. She treats everybody well..."

Neighbor C said, "I think you guys look like good people! Let me tell you a true story: there used to be a woman living here who was very strong and healthy. A while back she picked up a stack of Dafa truth clarification VCDs outside the gate. We tried to persuade her many times not to turn them in but she wouldn't listen. She turned them in to the police department. The police came here several times looking for Falun Gong practitioners. Soon after, this old woman suddenly died. You also have parents and children. Do good things and don't arrest these good people!" The two policemen were moved. After news of the abduction of the practitioner spread around the neighborhood, some people cried, some people tried to bail her out, and some tried to visit her. After she returned, some went to visit her home and cried when they stepped in the door. Others cried when they heard her telling her experience in the brainwashing center, and they all treated her with kindness and sympathy. The practitioner said, "I'm truly happy that they [the police] chose a bright future for themselves."

2. Husband and wife both practice Dafa and both improve themselves in cultivation and clarify the truth: There is a couple in Northeast China. Before July 20, 1999, only the husband practiced Dafa but the wife also knew Dafa was good. One day in late 2000, the husband said he was going to Beijing to appeal and the wife highly agreed. She saw him off on the train. That evening she had a dream in which she saw a man in golden cassock telling her not to worry, that her husband would return safely within three days. Three days later, her husband returned safely after validating Dafa in Tiananmen Square. When the wife told him about the dream the husband said, "That's my Master." From then on, the wife began practicing Dafa and she was very diligent. Later, due to pressure from the evil, the couple left home. They found a job. For a while, the evil in other dimensions interfered with them and they developed severe scabies. Together they sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil, and most of the scabies disappeared during the following two weeks. The practitioners felt the supernatural power of Dafa. The couple often went out together to make Dafa truth clarification materials. Once, an elderly door guard ran after them and shouted, "What are you doing?" The woman practitioner said in a calm voice, "I'm saving people. I'll give you a pamphlet and if you understand, you'll be saved. Your family will also receive blessings." The couple clarified the truth to the old man. He listened and said happily, "I can't believe there are still good people like you in this world. You are clarifying the truth and saving people, even in this environment. You are too good. I truly admire people like you."

His work unit praised him for his honesty and magnanimous conduct, and people liked to work for him. One day he said to an employee straightforwardly, "Your niece practices Falun Gong. She often told me about Dafa principles and how to be a good person. Good character is a very important criteria for a company when deciding whether or not to hire someone." The employee said, "I used to practice Falun Gong, but after July 20, 1999 my work unit supervisor threatened me and I dared no longer practice." The manager said, "Falun Gong is so good! You should practice. What's said on TV is all false..."

He and his wife went to their hometown in the countryside to clarify the truth. They told all their relatives that Falun Dafa is good. He encouraged his wife to make more Fa lecture tapes to bring back to the country. He often clarified the truth to his supervisors, classmates and friends who work for the government.

The police told him to help them "reform" his wife. He solemnly refused and condemned the police chief, saying, "You should do the right things. Don't vent your anger on Falun Gong practitioners. If you have the ability, go arrest bad people!" When the police went to his home to arrest his wife he said, "Don't think about walking out of this door if you arrest her!" The police became afraid and left.

Cao Hongjin, administrator of the No. 1 Hospital in Xiji City, Hebei Province cooperated with the evil force to persecute Dafa practitioners in the hospital. He received karmic retribution. On July 28, 2003, an explosion took place at a fireworks factory in Xiji City. Many wounded people were sent to this hospital. Cao didn't care much about saving these people and didn't even know which wards the patients were sent to. As a result, the provincial Party secretary walked in the wrong room when he went to visit the patients. In the end, Cao was fired.
