Recently in some areas of Mainland China the vicious people once again harassed practitioners at home and tried to force them to denounce Falun Gong. Practitioners used this opportunity to eliminate those factors and clarify the truth. I personally think this is clarifying the truth passively. We are the main characters in the play. If we want to clarify the truth we should go to find them. This is the basis. We should find the opportunities in everyday life to clarify the truth to the neighborhood committees, police stations, government offices, branch offices of public security bureau, and our bosses at work. To clarify the truth like this is very effective and can be easily accepted. During Spring Festival in 2001, we called several policemen to greet them. They were all at work. We first wished them Happy Spring Festival. At last we told them not to be involved in the persecution of Falun Gong, and that we are doing this for their sake. I could not find the phone number of one of the policemen, so I paged him and left a message saying Happy Spring Festival. When I met him half a year later the policeman still thanked me for the greeting. Later on when there were fabrications against Falun Gong on TV, I would remind them not to take part in the persecution. One policeman in the neighborhood received karmic retribution for persecuting Falun Gong. I called to tell the police to be responsible to themselves. They did not believe me and resisted at the beginning. Later on they all said: "Yes, we know." The environment in our area is very good.

Recently I heard some comments when sharing experiences with fellow practitioners. It seems that when a fellow practitioner is arrested and persecuted, people think something must be wrong with that practitioner. They did not view this issue as having to do with Dafa disciples needing to improve overall, did not see the dedication of the practitioner to the Fa, did not compare and see room for improvement in themselves, and did not realize that the arrest of fellow practitioners is directly or indirectly related to their own shortcomings. The reason for fellow practitioners being arrested is actually that they did not study the Fa enough or there are other factors that were used by the evil. But some of them sent forth righteous thoughts to suppress the evil and validate Dafa, and later even broke through the detention with righteous thoughts and turned the tribulation into the magnificence of validating Dafa. As Dafa disciples we need to focus on finding the shortcomings in ourselves and use the lessons of fellow practitioners to guide our own path. We should regard the rescue of fellow practitioners as one thing that we must resolve in our own cultivation.

When we clarify the truth we always think that the other side has poor enlightenment quality. Although we know that they are affected by the evil we easily give up on those people, especially our friends and family with predestined relationships. But Master does not want to give up on anyone that has obtained the Fa and has kept extending the period of Fa-rectification. At the same time he has kept telling the truth and giving hints at Fa conferences, and talked more and more clearly. I hope we all reach consummation. We should do well in the three things Master has been emphasizing recently, clarify the truth with wisdom and do not give up on anyone with a predestined relationship.

In late March my boss told me that the police station would send someone to talk to me. I decided to clarify the truth to save him with a pure mind. The policeman that came by was new to the police station. I told him the big changes I had both physically and spiritually after I took up the practice of Dafa. I started talking about the incident on April 25 and explained the insane persecution toward Falun Gong and Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang's group of political scoundrels, and the many loopholes in the so-called "Tiananmen Self-Immolation." The young policeman was quiet. I then started to talk about the famous scientist Isaac Newton and his belief in God and about the creation of the universe, the origin of life and their relationships to Dafa. The young man kept nodding his head. At last I told him seriously: "Falun Dafa is the universal law. To do bad deeds to Dafa and Dafa disciples will bring retribution to you and your family. If you treat Dafa and Dafa disciples well, it will bring a beautiful future to you and your family." Convinced, he nodded his head.

I suffered from many illnesses before I practiced Falun Gong. After practicing Falun Gong I became very energetic. Before, I was quick tempered. Now I am considerate of others in every aspect. The relationship between my mother-in-law and me is very good now. One snowy day in December 2002 it was late when I finished Fa study. There was something wrong with the well at home, and we had no water to drink. My mother-in-law was very anxious. I carried a bucket without hesitation to a sister's house about 1/3 mile away in the snow. When I returned with the water it was about 11:00 p.m. My mother-in-law tells everyone that Falun Gong is really good, and that her daughter-in-law is so good and healthy, all due to practicing Falun Gong. My daughter is 12-years old. She is greatly influenced by me and is very brave. One day at noontime a big dog was charging at a little girl. My daughter rushed over and carried the little girl away. The girl was safe but my daughter was bitten on the leg. People around were all shocked. My daughter said that it was OK, and several days later my daughter was fully recovered from the bite.
