Update on Li Naichao, Surviving Daughter of Falun Gong Practitioner Li Rongxian in Huadian City, Jilin Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Li Rongxian was tortured to death at the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai City on May 26, 2003. Below is the current situation of his daughter Li Naichao.

Li Naichao is living with her 82-year-old paternal grandmother and her 34 year old mother Tian Shuzhen. Their livelihood comes from a small family-owned shop.

Practitioner Li Rongxian previously suffered from numerous illnesses, all of which disappeared after he began to practice Falun Gong. He went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong in October 2000 and was illegally held by authorities for one year.

In July 2002 he was again illegally arrested, this time while distributing truth clarification flyers. He was taken to the Qixin Police Station in Huadian City where he was tortured with "Tiger Bench" for one day and one night. He was released after his family paid a fine of 2,000 yuan. The police arrested him again within a month and sent him directly to the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai City. He was cruelly tortured and died on May 26, 2003 at the age of 44.
