Persecution Suffered by Zhang Yuchun in Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong, Sichuan Province (Demonstration Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhang Yuchun was born in Shenyang city, Liaoning province on February 11,1954. In October 1998, she attained Falun Dafa at the Seamless Steel Tube Factory in Chengdu city, Sichuan province.

In January 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. On January 17, she was arrested for holding up a Falun Dafa banner on Tiananmen Square. After she was detained in Chengdu Liaison Office in Beijing for one week, she was sent back to Chengdu city and detained in Qingyang District Drug Rehabilitation Center for two days. Then, she was held in a detention center for 5 days, criminal detention for 29 days; and later on sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp. In the labor camp, Zhang Yuchun's labor term was extended to seven months. On September 4, 2001, she was released back home.

On December 8, 2002, Zhang Yuchun was arrested at a Dafa material production site by the Chengdu City Jinniu District Public Security Bureau, the Chengdu City Xinhonglu Police Station and the Chengdu City "610 Office". Zhang Yuchun was detained in the custody room of Chengdu City Jinniu District Public Security Bureau for two days, and then transferred to Baifurong Hotel, where she was tortured for 5 days and nights. Afterwards, she was sent to Chengdu City Detention Center.

In May 2003, she went on a hunger strike. On June 20, she was sent to Qingyang District Hospital. She was released back home on July 21.

On July 7, 2004 at 9:00 a.m., four police agents (three male and one female) from Chengdu City Jinniu District Public Security Bureau illegally broke into Ms. Zhang's parent's home in the North School Area of Chengdu University of Science and Technology, intending to arrest and sentence Zhang Yuchun to the labor camp.

Scene 1: A photo of Zhang Yuchun taken during one noon in late June 2000 doing the sitting meditation in Team No.7 of Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong, Sichuan province. A police agent with the surname Li beat Zhang Yuchun on her back with a spiked club. A prisoner was instigated to step on Zhang Yuchun's hands and legs and beat her.

Scene 2: Another photo of Zhang Yuchun at noon in late June 2000 doing the sitting meditation in Team No.7 of Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong, Sichuan province. Zhang Yuchun was shocked and beaten by 5 policemen from the security team with high-voltage electric batons and spiked clubs. The police leader Zhang Xiaofang instigated the other police to beat Zhang Yuchun. During that period, Zhang Yuchun's left breast was injured from the beating, and her face became swollen and black.

Scene 3: One morning in early July 2000, Zhang Yuchun was asked by Zhang Xiaofang from Team No.7 to go to the police leader's office. Li Kunrong punched her in the face. Zhang Xiaofang also instigated a drug addict to beat Zhang Yuchun around the eyes, which caused her to lose her eyesight temporarily.

Scene 4: At noon on December 8, 2002, the staff from Chengdu City Jinniu District Public Security Bureau, Chengdu City Xinhonglu Police Station and Chengdu City "610 Office" sawed down the shelter of a Dafa material site. They broke down and looted all the Dafa articles from the material site, and forcibly sent Zhang Yuchun to Baifurong Hotel for brainwashing.

Scene 5: At noon on December 8, 2002, Zhang Yuchun was arrested to Baifurong Hotel and deprived of sleep for 5 days and nights. The police instigated some unemployed people to beat Zhang Yuchun and threatened to push her out from the fourth floor.

Scene 6: On July 7, 2004 at 9:00 a.m., the police from Chengdu City Jinniu District Public Security Bureau illegally broke into Zhang Yuchun's parent's home, intending to arrest Zhang Yuchun and sentence her to the labor camp. Zhang Yunchun's 78-year-old mother sternly resisted their attempt.
