The General Secretary Leaves out Mention of Falun Gong

A major event was going to be held in a city in China. The mayor held a meeting to discuss security issues. According to the provincial government's demands, preventing Falun Gong practitioners from clarifying the truth during this major event was to be the number one priority. Next in importance was to prevent the occurrence of terrorist acts and violent acts. Originally the newspaper article was to stress the importance of suppressing Falun Gong, but after much thought, the General Secretary decided not to denounce Falun Gong. Instead, he changed the words to say "preventing various types of sabotage."

Taking the initiative to protect Falun Gong practitioners

The wife of a policeman used to suffer from severe heart disease. Since she began practicing Falun Gong last September, her health recovered very quickly. The policeman knew that Falun Gong was great, but because of fear and pressure from all directions and for fear of being persecuted, he continued to disapprove of his wife practicing Falun Gong. One day he went home and said, "Some people were practicing Falun Gong in the park; initially I wanted to arrest them and take them to the police station, but I recalled that my wife is also practicing Falun Gong. I did not arrest them. Instead, I advised them to be careful."
