610 Office Orders Procuratorate Not to Protect Falun Gong Practitioners' Rights

Dec. 3, 2004

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, Falun Gong practitioners were clarifying the truth using legal means. Some practitioners filed claims against police officers before the Procuratorate. Some family members of the practitioners appealed the sentencing of practitioners. Some practitioners requested compensation because they were sentenced to forced labor or were injured or disabled as a result of the persecution they received. In some cases, during the court sessions, practitioners described what they and their family members suffered and illustrated the benefits of practicing Falun Gong, which had a very good effect in clarifying the truth.

Just when the practitioners started to make progress clarifying the truth using legal means, the 610 Office began to deliver secret orders to the legal personnel. They ordered them not to accept or talk about the appeals and prosecutions of practitioners. They said, "It is not legal to refuse these prosecutions. However, to keep consistency between the top and bottom levels of the Party, it is regarded as a political task. We will hold responsible those who dare to accept these prosecutions."

They also informed the desk clerk of the so-called "battle strategy": "Try to let the visitors feel comfortable on the surface and then identify who is the 'ringleader' and their address, contact information, or other information; report this to the 610 Office immediately so they can be arrested."

To avoid giving them any chance, practitioners in other places, please maintain strong righteous thoughts and be careful not to give your contact information to the defendants.
