Practitioner Mou Caifen of Tianyuan Chemical Factory in Chongqing City Tortured in Labor Camp
Ms. Mou Caifen is a 61-year-old practitioner retired from the Tianyuan Chemical Factory in Chongqing City. After July 20, 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal twice. She was arrested and sent to brainwashing classes. In the middle of July 2001, when she went to Tiananmen Square a third time, the police beat her and fractured her wrist. In November 2001, in order to validate the Fa, she refused to wear labor camp uniforms. The labor camp guards brutally beat her as she hung in the air by her handcuffs, then cursed her and locked her in a small cell (1). As the result of these tortures, Ms. Mou has scabies on her body, her feet are swollen, and she often feels dizzy. The police force her take medications, inject her with drugs, and force her run, sit, and squat for long periods of time.
State Security Police in Huaihua City, Hunan Province, Mistreat Mr. Shi Shaojin
Mr. Shi Shaojin, a Falun Dafa practitioner, is employed by the Huaihua City Power Company. He was arrested at his home early on the morning of October 9, 2002, by the Huaihua City State Security Police and detained in the city's Second Detention Center until November 30, 2002. During his 22-day detention, police extorted 120,000 yuan from his wife, who had to borrow the money. Police also ransacked his office and their home and confiscated two computers. He stated, "They also took my bank book when they interrogated me and withdrew over 150,000 additional yuan from that account. Under pressure from the State Security Police and the 610 Office, my employer had to dismiss me from my position as deputy CEO and suspended my Party membership for two years."
Falun Dafa Practitioner Wang Fujin and His Wife Shi Xulan from Shengli Oilfield in Hebei Province Abducted
On November 18, 2004, the 610 Office at the Binhai Police Station, along with other personnel from the Oilfield Shipping Company, planned and executed two simultaneous abductions in two residential areas on the west side of the Oilfield. Security officers from the Shipping Company stormed into retired employee Wang Fujin's house, abducted him and his wife Shi Xulan (both of them are in their sixties) to the Company Hotel, and transferred them to an unknown location the next day. The regime is trying to intensify the persecution by searching for the sources of truth-clarifying materials and uses the fear and sentimentality that some practitioners still have.
The Persecution of Finance Expert Mr. Song Ying
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Song Ying is 34 years old and employed by the Shahekou Branch of the Industrial Commercial Bank in Dalian City. Because of his professional abilities and the merits of his character, he is very well regarded by his supervisor and colleagues. He has won numerous merit awards. However, the bank was assigned to achieve a 100% brainwashing "transformation" rate of Falun Dafa practitioners before the end of this year. Under this severe pressure, the branch bank pressured him to give up his faith. He recently refused to go to a brainwashing class. In order to reach the brainwashing goal, the branch bank intentionally reduced his workload to unfairly measure his work. On September 21, the Shahekou Branch Office issued a notice that forced him into early retirement in two months. People heard about this and were all very angry, saying, "The Bank's administration has no sense of justice or conscience and mistreats employees openly."
Note:
(1) Detainees are locked up alone in a very small cell about one square meter cell. The guards handcuff practitioners behind their backs in a position in which they can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and there is no sunlight. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked in a small cell during the daytime. During the night, rats move around freely. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.
