My name is Yang Hong, and I am a Dafa practitioner from Huludao City, Liaoning Province. During this persecution against Dafa, I was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. The guards at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp enticed the inmates with sentence reductions if they torture Dafa practitioners. Some practitioners gave up their belief in Dafa after suffering tremendous psychological and physical abuse. The college my daughter had attended at the time expelled her because she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. My husband passed away from extreme anguish.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu Chenghua, a former nurse at Jiamusi City's Contagious Disease Hospital, was fired because she practiced Dafa with steadfast belief. Ms. Xu was unlawfully detained four times and is currently being held at the Jiamusi Detention Center. She was once abducted and sent to a brainwashing class held at the Jiamusi Labor Camp, and later sentenced to three years of forced labor. Three months later Xu Chenghua walked out of the labor camp with the power of her righteous thoughts. In April 2003 Xu Chenghua was again abducted and savagely tortured. In December 2003 the Yonghong District Court in Jiamusi City sentenced Xu Chenghua to eight years in prison. Xu Chenghua appealed, but is still being held at the Jiamusi Detention Center. She was previously an energetic and vivacious person, but now her hair is gray and sparse, her chest and internal organs were injured from torture, her arm muscles have atrophied, and she suffers from severe memory loss.

The persecutors at the No. 2 Female Labor Camp in Shandong Province, also called Zibo City's Wangcun Female Labor Camp, cruelly torture Dafa practitioners. Practitioner Ms. Song Jing sustained scars and bruises on her face and arms; practitioner Ms. Wang Yumei was tortured for eight months. As a result, she suffers from back and head pain, loss of vision, and leg cramps. These symptoms have not improved.

My name is Wang Yanping. I am a female Dafa practitioner from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. After July 20, 1999 the police often came to my home to harass me. They sent me to detention centers and brainwashing classes many times, where I was beaten, tortured, and had money extorted from me. They broke my collarbone and as a result I couldn't lie down for more than one month, and could not do heavy labor for more than three months. Later I was forced to leave home to avoid illegal arrest.

In August 2000 Dafa practitioners from Quanyang Town, Baishan City, Jilin Province went to the government to appeal for Dafa, but the government turned a deaf ear. With no other channel to obtain justice, practitioners printed truth-clarification materials paid for with their own money, and distributed them to tell people the facts about Falun Gong. The police arrested eleven practitioners who distributed the materials, including Ren Huaijun, Liu Jingmin, Chen Liguo, Weng Boqing, Jiang Guiying, Xu Guizhen, Sun Xiuxia, Bian Lijun, Zhang Fengxia, and Xu Fengyun.

Four Dafa practitioners who were employees of a brewery were fired. Practitioner Fu Kexiu, the owner of a print shop, was detained and fined, and the police confiscated computers, printers, and other equipment. Fu Kexiu suffered a direct loss of approximately 50,000 Yuan to 60,000 Yuan.

In March 2000, Dafa practitioner Mr. Gui Youyun from Hengyang City went to Beijing for the second time to appeal for Dafa, but was detained for more than 50 days. Her family paid 2,000 Yuan and took her home. Several days after returning home, Gui Youyun went to the police department and asked for Master's pictures that were illegally confiscated. The police sent him to Baishazhou Detention Center for detention. Gui Youyun held a hunger strike, and her family paid 1,000 Yuan to the Miaopu Police Station and the Zhuhui District Police Department before they released Gui Youyun. In March 2001, Gui Youyun met with several practitioners in Miaopu Park. The police from the Miaopu Police Station tried to arrest them, but Gui Youyun escaped. She was put on a wanted list and was forced to leave home.

Dafa practitioner Mr. Han Yiming, 47, was a lecturer at the College of Arts at Southwest Normal University in Chongqing City. On February 8, 2004, he was distributing truth clarification flyers in a residential neighborhood affiliated with the 308th Factory in the Beipei District, Chongqing City. The police arrested him and sent him to the Beiwenquan Town Police Station in Beipei District, Chongqing City. Later they transferred him to the Beipei District Detention Center in Chongqing City. Han Yiming is determined in his belief in Dafa, and he has been on a hunger strike for one week to resist the persecution.
