As a result, Luu Guifang's house was ransacked and his property confiscated. Luu Guifang and another Dafa practitioner Ms. Yin Shulan were sent to the "610 office" brainwashing class. Because Yin Shulan remained steadfast and would not give up her practice, she was sent to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. Practitioner Zhang Leiping was also reported by Liu Shuzhi.
