(Clearwisdom.net) (Clearwisdom Net correspondent Xiao Yan reports) On May 15, 2004, some practitioners from eastern Canada held a series of activities in Montreal to celebrate the 12^th anniversary of Falun Dafa's worldwide spread and the 5^th World Falun Dafa Day, as well as the 4^th Canadian Falun Dafa Festival. Through these activities, practitioners displayed the beauty of Falun Dafa and exposed the persecution of Falun Dafa by Jiang's group. Practitioners wished to turn their gratitude towards Dafa into a blessing for all kind-hearted people throughout the world.

Exposing the persecution and calling for an end to the genocide against Falun Gong

Around 12:30 p.m., after the performance concluded in Chinatown, practitioners held a grand parade from 4 to 6 p.m. and were warmly received.

A practitioner said to the public during the ceremony, "This is a special and sacred day. Twelve years ago, our great Teacher introduced Falun Dafa to the world with his incomparable compassion. The number of practitioners is increasing daily, along with their moral character and health. Over these short 12 years, the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance have spread to each corner of China, to more then 60 countries around the world and to millions of people of different nationalities.

Since July 1999, the Jiang group has conducted a ruthless persecution of Falun Gong. From the overwhelming deceitful propaganda to the inhuman policy of eliminating practitioners physically, the Jiang group has poisoned the minds of millions of people. It has been reported that at present, more than a hundred thousand practitioners are still imprisoned and nearly a thousand practitioners have died as a result of the persecution.

In the face of the violence and danger, in the face of people's misunderstandings, Falun Gong practitioners persistently follow Master Li's teachings, scrupulously abide by the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, expose the lies, call for justice and conscience, and share the blessing of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance.

Practitioners said, "May 13 is not only a festival for Falun Gong practitioners; it will become a day that is remembered by all mankind, because life needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. The light of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance will shine on each corner of the world and clear away all evil."

"Today, Dafa practitioners once again gather with kind-hearted people to celebrate the 12^th anniversary of the introduction of Falun Dafa, which brings the Good News to mankind. Through our various celebratory activities, we wish to turn our appreciation of Dafa into a blessing for all kind-hearted people over the world."

"Although there are still stormy times, the righteous and the evil can be clearly distinguished. Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day -- this will be the most beautiful day for all people. Let us join together again, and sing and dance, for others' happiness and for the wonderful future of all people."
