1. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Two Dafa Practitioners at Huludao City's Forced Labor Camp on Hunger Strike for 65 Days and 92 Days, Respectively
As of June 7, 2004, three out of five practitioners who had been staging a hunger strike fell into grave danger, so personnel at the forced labor camp released them in order to evade any responsibility if they should die. Yao Yanhui was on a hunger strike for over 130 days; You Yuehong - 90 days; and Huang Lizhong - 38 days.
Two other practitioners are still staging a hunger strike: Zhang Jihong from Suizhong County has been on a hunger strike for 92 days and Hu Baochun from Yangzhuangzi County has not eaten for 65 days.

2. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Zhang Jianbo on Hunger Strike for 69 Days at the Shiliping Forced Labor Camp
Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Jianbo, 30 years old, was a post-graduate student of Zhejiang's Industrial University. Since March 29, 2004, for the past 69 days, he has been on a hunger strike at the Shiliping Forced Labor Camp.
3. [Hulin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ma Rongqing and Ren Ai'xiang Sentenced to Forced Labor for Distributing Truth-Clarifying Materials
At around 9:00 p.m. on April 2, 2004, police arrested Dafa practitioners Mr. Ma Rongqing and Ms. Ren Ai'xiang from Hulin City while they were distributing truth-clarifying materials. It's said that Ma Rongqing was sentenced to two years of forced labor, and Ren Ai'xiang was sentenced to one year. Ma Rongqing's paralyzed wife was left at home without care, as was Ren Ai'xiang's young child. According to reliable sources, Ren Ai'xiang has not eaten or drunk fluids for a week. Her life is in grave danger.
4. [Qinzhou City, Guangxi Province] Three Dafa Practitioners Arrested for Mailing Truth-Clarifying Materials
At 9:30 p.m. on June 3, 2004, officers from Qinzhou City's Police Department arrested three practitioners, Ms. Liao Ruping, Ms. Ma Xiaohong and Ms. Ma Xiaojuan and ransacked their homes. The three practitioners might have been followed when they mailed truth-clarifying materials. On June 4, the practitioners were sent to the city's No.1 Detention Center.

5. [Shantou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Wu Peijuan Arrested; Her Home Ransacked
At about 6:00 p.m. on May 12, 2004, officers Li Dongming and Lin Weimin from Shantou City's Police Department, along with officers from the Guangsha Police Precinct arrested 50-year-old practitioner Ms. Wu Peijuan and ransacked her home. At present, Wu is being held at the Tuopu Detention Center. It was discovered that her husband was also detained for one day and was not released until he was beaten severely until badly bruised.

6. [Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Hou Baoyun Arrested
In early May 2004, someone reported practitioner Hou Baoyun from Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province when he/she was clarifying the facts at Sandaoling in Zhoujia Township. Hou is currently being detained at the city's detention center.
7. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ma Kui and Song Duanling Arrested for Clarifying the Facts of Falun Gong
Dafa practitioner Ma Kui who lives at Henandong Village in the Kalaqinqi District, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, was arrested and detained at the Jingshanxiaofu Detention Center in Kalaqinqi District for clarifying the facts of Falun Gong.
On June 1, 2004, when Dafa practitioner Song Duanling who lives in the Henan Square residential area in the Kalaqinqi District, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia AR, went to distribute truth-clarifying flyers with her 16-year-old son, local police officers Wang Gang and Tang Limin arrested and detained them at the Jingshanxiaofu Detention Center. When lawless policemen interrogated them, they even beat the teenager. Song Duanling's father is over 84 years old. He cannot take care of himself due to a stroke-induced paralysis. In addition, nobody in Song Duanling's family can help him now, during the busy farming season.
8. [Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Gao Jie Arrested While Distributing Truth-clarifying Materials in a Park
On May 30, 2004, Dafa practitioner Gao Jie from Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province went to the Acheng Park to distribute Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials, but the park clerks Wang Xingkai, Liu Yanzhang and Hua reported him/her to police. Thus, the on-call police officer arrested Gao Jie.
9. [Gongyi City, Henan Province] Many Dafa Practitioners Arrested and Taken to a Brainwashing Center
On the morning of May 12, 2004, Ms. Li Huizhen from Gongyi City, Henan Province was taken away and sent directly to a brainwashing center. She is currently being detained at the 339 Huachu Hotel, which had been transformed into a brainwashing center. Dafa practitioners Wang Genju, Wang Wenchang and his wife were also taken away and two children were left home without care.
