Officials in Chengde City Responsible for Persecuting Dafa Practitioners Experience Karmic Retribution for Their Crimes

July 27, 2004

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

To those people who are still participating in the persecution of Falun Dafa: please don't gamble with your own lives! There is an old saying, "A person has one life cycle, and grass only undergoes one spring," to depict how fleeting life is. So, please don't ruin your fate for a tiny bit of self interest right now. If you lose your life for ill-gotten wealth, how are you going to enjoy it? Please, take a look at the karmic retributions that have occurred in the current lives of people responsible for persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners:

Case No. 1: Wang Jiaju, during his term as President of Chengde University, had cooperated with the city "610 Office" (1) to persecute Dafa disciples at the university, which led to the arrest of three Dafa disciples. Two of them received heavy sentences and were inhumanly tortured for ten months in a detention center. Wang Jiaju died from cancer before the spring festival in 2002. It took only one month from the onset of the illness to the moment of his death. During the 2001 National Holiday, six people at the university who had participated in the persecution of practitioners went to Beijing by minivan for a sight seeing trip. A car accident happened on the way that left one dead and five injured.

Case No. 2: Tong Lijun is the Political Security Division head for Pingquan County's Police Department in Hebei Province and chiefly responsible person for persecuting Falun Gong. He was hospitalized with various illnesses throughout his body.

Case No. 3: Li Junfeng had persecuted Dafa disciples when he was Longhua County deputy Commissioner in Hebei Province. He has sentenced more than 30 practitioners to forced labor, some with very heavy terms. He now suffers from deterioration of the brain and a stroke has paralyzed half his body.

Case No. 4: Li Ting, a person who never practiced Falun Gong, lived on Taoli Street in Chengde City had a relapse of his mental illness and murdered his parents. Shuangqiao District Police Department official, Meng Jianguo, and others had previously submitted the story to state run Chinese Central Television (CCTV) to frame Falun Gong by fabricating the claim that Li Ting was a Falun Gong practitioner. CCTV then aired the news to frame Falun Gong. As a reward, Meng Jianguo was promoted to the chief's position for the Longhua County Police Department. Because of this, he was even more active in persecuting Falun Gong. After being in his new job for a mere three months, Chief Meng suddenly died. Li Ting died while in custody in the Chengde Detention Center.

Case No. 5: Civil Court Chief for Chengde City People's Court Zhou Xiulan illegally sentenced 18 Falun Gong practitioners during her term of office. She herself is now detained in the Qinhuangdao City First Detention Center as a suspect in a bribery and corruption case involving large sums of money.

Some recent, additional cases of karmic retribution for evildoing:

Case No. 6: Li Wenqi was the deputy chief for Shuangqiao District Police Department in Chengde City. He used to persecute Dafa disciples without restraint. Now he has lung and liver cancer.

Case No. 7: An official of the Chengde City Police Department named Wang who was mainly responsible for handling the persecution of Falun Gong had ordered his subordinates to arrest practitioners and ransack their homes. A member on his wife's side of the family witnessed him committing adultery with a married woman. He was stabbed with a knife several times on the spot and is now in the hospital. This man has been removed from office, but the police department is still blocking all information to the outside.

Case No. 8: The head of Chengde City "610 Office" Yang Shuzeng is one of the most evil persons responsible for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. He has extorted more than 100,000 Yuan (2) from the families of practitioners. In order to obtain enough money to purchase a new car, he extorted money from Dafa disciples and their family members. In September 2003, he arrested a non-practitioner in the city (he even has a family member who practices Falun Gong) and extorted 60,000 Yuan from the family as ransom before releasing the hostage. He also extorted 40,000 Yuan from another practitioner to buy a new car, but he crashed his new car into the side of a mountain recently.

Case No. 9: Zhu Zhenfeng tortured, beat and abused Dafa disciples when he was at the Longhua County Detention Center. In the middle of March 2004, he died from a car accident.
