South African Embassy official Mr. Naidoo and two liaison officials, Mr. Jordan and Ms. Hodhev, met with Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners talked about the shooting incident and the Jiang regime's inhumane persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. A set of truth-clarification literature was also handed over to the embassy officials.
The embassy officials gave the practitioners a statement from senior superintendent Selby Bokaba, spokesperson of Department of Police, South Africa. The statement said that South African police was investigating the charge of attempted murder and intentionally damaging property. Mr. Naidoo said that they have learned about the incident and are following it closely.
Falun Gong practitioners held banners with the words "Falun Dafa is Great", "The World needs Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance" and "Strongly Condemning the Jiang Regime's Hiring Gunmen to Shoot Falun Gong practitioners." Photos of the practitioner's injuries were also on display.
