1. [Beipiao City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Shuzhong Is Tortured Until Comatose
At about six o'clock in the morning on October 21, 2005, Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Li Shuzhong, Ms. Zhu Yunqin and Ms. Liu Xiuying, all from Beipiao City, were arrested.
Mr. Li Shuzhong is still imprisoned in the Liangshuihe Detention Center in Beipiao City. He has been on a hunger strike for over two weeks, and he is very weak. The detention center staff has been sending Mr. Li to the Beipiao City Second Hospital for intravenous feeding. One source indicated that Mr. Li Shuzhong is now in a coma from the torture. Yet the Beipiao City National Security Division still sent his case to the procurator's office and then to the courts.
Because Mr. Li is steadfast in his faith in Falun Dafa, he has been detained eight times. He was first sentenced to a forced labor camp on June 5, 2001. He was imprisoned in the Chaoyang City Xidayingzi Forced Labor Camp and then the Huludao Forced Labor Camp. While being brutally tortured, some blood vessels in his brain burst and he developed an irregular heartbeat. He became very weak and had a bad cough.
While he was being held and tortured, he was fired from his job. The Beipiao City 610 Office and the National Security Division terrorized Mr. Li's family members, threatening their jobs. They harassed and threatened his wife. His wife was forced to divorce Mr. Li on March 10, 2005.
2. [Wudi County, Hebei Province] Mr. Jin Shengzhi Arrested While Distributing Falun Dafa Truth-Clarification Materials
On October 18, 2005, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Jin Shengzhi, from Haixing County, Hebei Province, was arrested by Wudi police officers while he distributed Falun Dafa materials in Wudi County, Shandong Province. Currently, he is imprisoned at the Wudi County Detention Center. His family members are not allowed to visit him.

3. [Taicang City, Jiangsu Province] Two Practitioners Sentenced
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wu Zhengzheng was sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment, and Mr. Xu Wen was sentenced to three years. Both were sentenced by the local 610 Office in Taicang City, Jiangsu Province.
