Facts of the Persecution
1. Falun Dafa practitioner An Fengbo Illegally Sent to a Forced Labor Camp and His Wife Beaten by Police
Mr. An Fengbo, a former guard at the Huanxiling Forced Labor Camp in Jilin City, was abducted from home on March 4th. He was sent to the No. 3 Detention Center later the same day. On March 9, his family went to a police station to ask for his release, but officer Yu Lijun was very rude and unreasonable.
On March 19, his wife and father An Yuzhen went to the Dadong Police Station to ask for his release. Five officers shoved An Yuzhen around, and one of the officers threatened to beat him. An Fengbo's wife tried to stop the police officer. The officer grabbed her hair and hit her. They handcuffed her hands behind her back for several hours.
During the morning of March 23, An Fengbo's family again went to the Dadong Police Station, and the political head there said, "He was sentenced to one year of forced labor and sent to the Jiutai Labor Camp yesterday afternoon."

2. Atrocities at Division 5 in the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp
Dafa practitioner Zhang Baoquan is 50 years old and lives in Harbin City. In July or August 2003, he was abducted and sent to the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp. He was transferred to Division 1 in February 2004. In late June 2004 he could not do his work because of high blood pressure. Division head Zhang forced him to sit between two extremely noisy toothpick machines for a whole afternoon.
Practitioner Li Wansuo lives in Bin County and is in his 50s. He is a farmer and is hard of hearing. In late April 2003, he was held at Division 5 at the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp. Guard Zhao Shuang violently boxed his ears from behind when Li Wansuo was working.

3. Practitioner Ms. Wang Jinjie in Tonghua City, Jilin Province Illegally Sent to Labor Camp; Teenage Son Living Without Parents
Practitioner Ms. Wang Jinjie lived in Tonghua City, Jilin Province. In December 2004 police abducted her from home and sent her to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Jilin Province. Her 14-year-old son Zhao Aobo was left at home alone. Zhao Aobo's father passed away in 1999. Zhao Aobo is currently living with relatives.

4. Persecution of Practitioner Zhang Yulan From Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region
Practitioner Zhang Yulan from Aohan, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia AR was incarcerated for three years and then sent to the Chifeng Brainwashing Class to be further persecuted. On November 9, 2001 she was removing corn kernels [from corn cobs] at home when three officers from Aohan Police Department came and searched her home. Another two officers arrived later and abducted her. She admitted that she wrote truth clarification literature, and the police sent her to a detention center. Officer Ji Yahuan cuffed Zhang Yulan to a heating pipe, removed her pants and savagely beat her with a spiked club until her buttocks was badly bruised and cut. The perpetrators cuffed practitioners Zhang Yulan and Xin Yuqin together for four days and four nights, during which time the practitioners weren't allowed to use the toilet.
Zhang Yulan was sentenced to three years of forced labor by an Aohan court but was instead sent to a women's prison, where she was held for three years. She was sent to Chifeng Brainwashing Class after her release.

5. Persecution of practitioner Liu Shuqin in Anqiu, Shandong Province
Practitioner Liu Shuqin from Anqiu, Shandong Province went to Beijing to validate Dafa on March 6, 2000. She was abducted and sent back to her hometown, where she was held at a brainwashing class at a Family Planning Office. Liu Shuqin held a hunger strike to resist the persecution. She was released after five days of staging a hunger strike.
On November 19, 2000, Liu Shuqin went to Beijing to validate Dafa and was again sent back to Anqiu. She was held at a brainwashing class, where she participated in a group hunger strike along with other practitioners. She was unconditionally released after six days of this hunger strike. On January 15, 2001 [Chinese lunar calendar], Liu Shuqin was abducted and sent to a brainwashing class. She refused to cooperate with the collaborators and was released after five days.
