Escaping from Danger with Righteous Thoughts

Jan. 4, 2006 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shandong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) One day in early December 2005, after dinner I went to the commercial area downtown as usual with other fellow practitioners to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to the passers-by and to persuade them to quit the CCP and other related organizations.

After persuading a few people to quit the CCP, three police cars suddenly appeared in front of me. Several policemen jumped out of the cars and encircled me and another practitioner. A police officer who appeared to be the leader, rebuked us, "What are you doing here? Someone has reported you." While he was talking, they intended to take us away. The police started to pick me up and push me into the police car. I sat in the lotus posture and sent forth righteous thoughts. At the same time I said to the police, "Nobody shall touch me!" None of the police came forward to touch me.

Then, more and more people came by. One of the police officers was incessantly cursing me. I stared at him gravely and said, "I am older than your parents. Did your parents teach you to curse other people?" I said loudly to the policemen and the people around, "Good and evil will receive their respective consequences. Whoever persecutes kind people is being sinful. You all should think about the future of your family members!"

We were at a stand off. While I was sending forth righteous thoughts, I asked our Teacher to strengthen me. I thought to myself, "I must leave this place." I stood up and walked to the road on the other side of the commercial building. A taxi was parked right there. I got in the car and drove away. Three police cars tailed us for a while. After a few miles, the driver became scared and parked his car. When I got out of the taxi, I thought about how to evade the police while I sent forth righteous thoughts. Taking advantage of the darkness, I hid myself in a corner that shielded me from the wind. It was very cold that night and my shoes were full of mud and water. After several hours of this hide-and-seek, I still heard the sounds of the footsteps of the policemen.

After a while, I thought to myself, "What I am doing is the most sacred. The evils are not worthy to persecute me. I must walk out openly." I then walked to a major road and took a taxi. I went home safely.

Nor did the other practitioner cooperate with the police persecution, from the beginning to the end. The policemen found themselves helpless and eventually released her.
