Australia: Daughter of Arrested Practitioner Zeng Aihua Seeks Help from CIPFG (Photos)

Dec. 10, 2006

(Clearwisdom.net) In the afternoon of December 7, 2006, Australian legislators including Senators Andrew Bartlett and Kerry Nettle and MP Chris Bowen jointly held a press conference at Canberra's Capital Hill to announce the intention of the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) Australian Group to enter China to investigate the allegations of organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners. At the press conference, Australian citizen Chen Muhai delivered a letter the senators and MP, requesting a thorough investigation of the whereabouts of her mother, Zeng Aihua. Ms. Zeng is a Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioner who was arrested last May in Shanghai by the Chinese Communist regime.

In the letter, Ms. Chen wrote that her family had lost contact with her mother since she was arrested last May by the Shanghai Police. In the past several months, the police have repeatedly refused Ms. Chen's lawyer to meet with her mother. With more and more findings confirming that the Chinese Communist regime has been harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners, Ms. Chen is extremely concerned about her mother's safety. She has been seeking help from all possible channels, however, she has not seen any positive progress. She hopes that the CIPFG can help her to locate her mother. The Senators and MP asked about Ms. Zeng's case in detail and said that the CIPFG will give it high priority and investigate her case. Hong Kong resident Zeng Aihua was arrested in Shanghai on May 22, 2006. The charge was "publishing and spreading Falun Gong materials," and the evidence was that policemen found several hundred copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party CDs and NTDTV program materials.
