Austria: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest Unjust Verdict by the Singapore Authorities (Photo)

Dec. 14, 2006 |   By a practitioner from Austria

(Clearwisdom.net) On December 7, 2006, Austrian practitioners held an activity in front of the Singapore Embassy to Vienna to protest the Singapore authorities' unjust guilty verdict against two Falun Gong practitioners. The verdict disregards the Singapore constitution, violating Singapore law as well as international conventions while flattering the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The Austrian Falun Gong practitioners strongly urged the Singapore authorities to correct this ruling, which undermines human rights, and to release the two innocent Falun Gong practitioners, Ng Chye Huay and Erh Boon Tiong, immediately.

Practitioners displayed banners in both Chinese and English reading, "Singapore Authorities: Don’t be the CCP’s Accomplice in the Persecution of Falun Gong." Many passersby understood the truth. Just as the activity was concluding, a man working in the building came out and took pictures of the banners. He said that he would ask his boss to send the photos back to Singapore.
