On the morning of November 10, 2006, practitioner Mr. Cheng Tongjun from Bonihe Town in Jiutai City, Jilin Province, was clarifying the truth to people in a store. Officers from the Bonihe Town Police Station arrested him. The police searched and confiscated some Falun Dafa books and materials from the store then searched Mr. Cheng's home. Mr. Cheng is being held in the Niutai City Detention Center. His family has been denied any visitation.

5. [Beizhen City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Liu Yuan Detained
At 10:00 a.m. on November 30, 2006, seven or eight officers from the Goubangzi Police Department broke into practitioner Ms. Yang Ying's Xiaoying Hair Salon after receiving reports. The officers unlawfully searched the hair salon and took Ms. Yang to the police department for interrogation. One officer slapped Ms. Yang's face when she refused to answer any questions. The officers then searched her home. The confiscated a computer, a pair of speakers, a color ink-jet printer, USB memory stick, and other personal items. Ms. Yang Ying was not arrested because she was nursing a newborn child. Her husband, practitioner Mr. Liu Yuanqiang, was initially taken to the police department and later transferred by the State Security Division to the Beizhen Detention Center.
On December 1, when Mr. Liu's family went to the detention center demanding his release, the authorities did not let them meet with him. On December 4, Mr. Liu's family went there again, and under their demands, they met Mr. Liu who was on his fourth day of a hunger strike.

6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Bai Yaqing Unlawfully Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
On around November 17, 2006, practitioner Ms. Bai Yaqing was taken into custody at the dormitory of the Changchun City Juvenile Delinquency Institute. Ms. Bai has since been sentenced to one year of forced labor and held in the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioners Mr. Fan Ming and Ms. Gao Xiuli have remained in custody at the Tieling County Detention Center since their arrest on September 13, 2006. According to reliable sources, the Tieling County Court is scheduled to hold their trials on December 10.

9. [Jianwei County, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhong Junfang Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Zhong Junfang, 53, has recently been arrested by officers from the county's police department and 610 Office. This is the third time she has been arrested. She had been sentenced to forced labor twice before, for a two-year term and a four-year term. She was just released and returned home last August.

Practitioner Mr. He Rushang is a teacher at the Hancun Town No. 4 Middle School in Linshu County. Three years ago, the Linshu County 610 Office arrested him and sent him to the labor camp for practicing Falun Gong. On October 28, 2006, just a few days after his release, officers from the Linshu County 610 Office took him away from his home and sent him to the Linyi Brainwashing Center for persecution.

11. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Fengying Unlawfully Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Liu Fengying, 62, is a retired worker from the Printing Factory of Shandong Normal University. She started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998 and has benefited both physically and mentally.
On the evening of July 10, 2006, Ms. Liu was arrested by officers from the Keyuan Road Police Station in Lixia District. She had been held in the Jinan City Detention Center, Liuchangshan Brainwashing Center, and the Changqing Brainwashing Center. She is now in the Jiangshuiquan Women's Forced Labor Camp.

The police arrested practitioner Ms. Li Shuxia, 39, from Yanqing County, in November 2006. Ms. Li has been sentenced to two years of forced labor.

On November 27, 2006, Mr. Luo Liansheng, a practitioner from Xiaojidian Village in Fuchang Township, Xinshi District, Baoding City, was turned in to the police. Officers from the Fuchang Township Police Station searched his home and confiscated a recently purchased notebook computer. Mr. Luo happened to not be at home. The police threatened his wife to get Mr. Luo back and turn him in. Now both Mr. Luo and his wife have been forced to leave home and become destitute.

Ms. Li Baofang, 58, is a practitioner from Shuangqiao, Chaoyang District in Beijing. At noon one day in April 2006, state security officers took her away from her home. The officers also searched her home. Ms. Li was initially held in the Chaoyang District Detention Center while the police incessantly harassed her husband and daughter. Ms. Li has since been sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor and sent to Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Beijing.

At around 2:00 p.m. on December 5, 2006, Wang Xueshan, director of the Liusi Town Police Station in Gaotang County, led several police officers from Fengtun Town in Chiping County and rushed to practitioner Ms. Wang Guifeng's home in Mazhuang Village, Fengtun Town. The officers smashed open the door and took her into custody at the Gaotang County Detention Center.
Ms. Wang's husband, practitioner Mr. Li Huayun, could not return to their home. Mr. Dong Guiying, another practitioner in the same village, has also been forced to leave home and become destitute.

On May 13, 2006, policemen from Wanjia Town Police Station arrested 28 or 29 Falun Dafa practitioners, took them to a brainwashing center, and imprisoned them there for nearly one month. 20. [Yanshan County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Xiufang Sentenced to 20 Months of Forced Labor
Practitioner Ms. Wang Xiufang from Liuwazhai Village, Mengdian Township, Yanshan County, was arrested when passing out truth-clarifying materials. A relative went to Yanshan County Police Department to request her release many times. The State Security Agent, Liu Zhenming, told her family to pay 4,000 yuan and write a guarantee statement for Ms. Wang. Her relative refused. In the middle of November 2006, Ms. Wang Xiufang was sentenced to 20 months of forced labor and was taken to Tangshan City Forced Labor Camp.

In 2002, practitioner Mr. Shi Lei was sentenced to serve 11 years in prison, and he has been detained in Qinduankou Prison located in Hanyang District, Wuhan City since that time. He has endured both mental and physical tortures.

26. [Chongqing City] Persecution Facts of Mr. Chen Defu in the Beipei District
Practitioner Mr. Chen Defu was a graduate student at Southwest University. He went home to get married, but he was arrested by the Beipei District 610 Officers, and the University dismissed him.
Another practitioner, Ms. Wan Tianqin, from Wenxingwan Neighborhood, Beipei District, was arrested in September 2006, and she was taken to the Maojiashan Women's Forced Labor Camp in November 2006.
27. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Persecution Facts of Mr. Xie Hongming
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Xie Hongming lives in the Fifth Group of Baiyang Village, Lodai Town, Longquanyi District, Chengdu City. In November 2002, he was sentenced to four years in prison by the District Court. He was taken to the Guangyuan Prison on August 20, 2003.
On November 6, 2006, Mr. Xie should have returned home, but he was taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center on November 4, 2006, by police from the Lodai Town Station.

Policeman Song searched his bag, found a Falun Gong book, discs, flyers, and 46 yuan in cash. Mr. Peng was arrested and taken to the Hengdong County Detention Center.
