1. [Beijing] Large Scale Arrests of Practitioners from Suburban Villages and Towns in Haidian District
There were large scale arrests in Beijing's Haidian district suburbs, villages, and towns. Local police went to practitioners' homes to search, and if they found Dafa books or materials, they would take practitioners away. We know that, as of now, one practitioner from Yongfeng Town and four practitioners from Sujiatuo Town have been arrested and sent to Qinghe Detention Center.
2. [Xiangfan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Wang Molian Illegally Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Wang Molian lives at Zhongyuan Road # 58, Xiangfan City, Hubei Province and works in the Zhongtie Electricity Bureau Group No. 2 Limited Main Corporation Third Subsidiary Company. At about 9:00 a.m. on September 7, 2006, she was arrested by Wang Aiping and other police officers from the 610 Office of the Checheng Police Station in Xiangfan City.
Ms. Wang was tightly handcuffed and was beaten mercilessly. She had cuts and bruises all over her body. In addition, her home was illegally ransacked. Police confiscated 3,000 yuan in cash, a computer, an engraving machine, printer, color copy machine and three cell phones. They then sent her to Gaoxin District, Xiangfan City and illegally imprisoned her there. After Wang Molian went on a protest hunger strike for three days and nights, she left the evil's den with righteous thoughts on September 10.

3. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Practitioner Wang Tongxin Arrested in Zhengzhou City Xinpai Computer City on August 17 and is Now Illegally Imprisoned in Zhengzhou City First Detention Center
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Xiao Benying Arrested and Her Whereabouts Not Clear
Between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on September 6, when Ms. Xiao Benying was clarifying the truth to her students near the Chaoyang Bridge in Changchun City, she was reported to authorities by a student’s parent. She was arrested by the Chaoyang Bridge Police Station and her home was illegally ransacked. Her whereabouts are unclear.
5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested and Their Whereabouts Not Clear
On July 2, a practitioner was clarifying the truth near the Fushan Town Cement Plant and was arrested by officers from the Fushan Town Police Station. The whereabouts of this practitioner are still not clear.
On July 6, a practitioner was clarifying the truth in Weicheng District's Cuijiazhuang Market and was arrested by officers from the Wangliu Town Police Station. The whereabouts of this practitioner are still not clear.

6. [Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ren Shurong Arrested
Between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on September 12, 2006, practitioner Ms. Ren Shurong from Baicheng was arrested at her home by the Baicheng City Police Bureau's National Security Group Deputy Chief Zhao Fuquan. She was sent to Taonan in the afternoon of the same day. They also took Dafa books, related materials, and her only 2,000 yuan.

7. [Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Sun Yanfang was Arrested in Acheng City First Detention Center
Practitioner Ms. Sun Yanfang is a teacher in Xinhua Town, Acheng City. Recently, her wages were stopped by the 610 Office. On September 11, when Sun Yanfang went to the 610 Office for a second time and inquired about her wages, she was illegally arrested and taken to the Acheng First Detention Center. Currently Sun Yanfang is protesting the persecution through a hunger strike.
8. [Zongyang County, Anhui Province] Practitioner Fang Yizhou Illegally Sentenced to Prison
Practitioner Mr. Fang Yizhou, a Health Care Center employee in Qilin Town, Zongyang County, Anhui Province, was sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment by the Zongyang County Court because he spread the truth about Falun Gong over the Internet.
9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Wei Chunping Facing Illegal and Continuous Persecution.
Practitioner Mr. Wei Chunping from Wuhan City was sentenced to five years in prison for spreading the facts about Falun Gong. Currently he is illegally imprisoned in the Qinduankou Prison in Wuhan City. On October 2, 2006, Mr. Wei's term came to an end. Qinduankou Prison has a long history of coordinating with the Wuhai City 610 Office and illegally detaining those Falun Gong practitioners whose terms have expired and transferring them to the brainwashing center to continue the persecution against them.

11. [Hudong County, Guangdong Proince] Three Practitioners Were Transferred to "Sanshui Vicious Persecution Session"
On the evening of August 17, 2006, officials from the Huidong County 610 Office, six police officers from the Public Security Bureau and officers from the Gaotan Local Police Station arrested four practitioners. The practitioners, Ms. Lin Xiujiao, Ms. Luo Yueying, Ms. Zhang Xinmei and Ms. Li Xiumei, also had their homes illegally searched. The four practitioners were arrested by force at around midnight.
Lin Xiujiao has been released. Zhang Xinmei, Luo Yueying and Li Xiumei are still imprisoned in Huiyang City, Guangdong Province.
12. [Beijing] Practitioner Xue Chuanqi Illegally Imprisoned in Tuanhe Labor Camp
Beijing practitioner Mr. Xue Chuanqi has been reported missing since last July. It has been confirmed that he was illegally imprisoned at the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Beijing.
13. [Yu County, Shanxi Province] Dongliang Township Local Police Station Takes a Practitioner into Custody
A practitioner from Hebei Province was a bee-keeper at the Xiliang Residential Quarter, Dongliang Township, Shanxi Province. He was turned in to the police when he clarified the truth about Falun Gong to the local residents and urged people to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations. On the afternoon of August 29, 2006, the head of the Xiliang Residential Quarter brought two police officers from the local police station and arrested him. Afterwards, the practitioner was illegally detained at the detention center by the county police department.
14. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Mr. Liu Shengping Arrested and Currently Detained in the Second Detention Center of Nanning City
At around 8:30 a.m. on August 22, 2006, officers from the Police Department of Jiangnan District of Nanning City, along with officials from the local 610 Office and the local Committee of Political and Legislative Affairs, went to practitioner Liu Shengping’s shop, illegally searched his place, and confiscated his belongings. They took Mr. Liu and his son into a car. His son was beaten in the car and his neck was injured. They asked Mr. Liu to sign paperwork [giving up Falun Gong] but he refused. They then beat him up. Later, police went to Mr. Liu’s home and ransacked it, confiscating a computer in the process. Mr. Liu’s son has been released, but he still has pain in his neck. Mr. Liu is currently detained in the Second Detention Center of Nanning City.
Since July 20, 1999, there have been over 30 practitioners illegally arrested, sentenced to forced labor or detained in prison by police and by the 610 Office in Hepu County, Guangxi Province. One practitioner has died as a result of the persecution.
15. [Wuyi County, Hebei Province] Practitioner, Ms. Guo Haisu Was Arrested in Wuyi County, Hebei Province on September 12, 2006

Mr. Cong Wei, in his 30’s, was arrested by the police in his home on September 12, 2006. He has been arrested several times before.
Mr. Zhang Guoyu, in his 30’s, was arrested by the police in a public location on September 12, 2006.
17. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Latest News on Zheng Chunxia and Zhang Xiuling
Practitioner Ms. Zheng Chunxia has been illegally sentenced to forced labor. Ms. Zhang Xiuling and three other practitioners who had contact with Ms. Zheng were arrested recently. Ms. Zhang is currently detained in the Daguang Detention Center in Changchun City.
18. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] An Elderly Woman in Her 70’s Arrested by Police
Practitioner Ms. Wang Jinrong is in her 70’s. At around 2:00 p.m. on August 28, 2006, two policemen from Haimao Police Station in Ganjingzi District, Dalian City, illegally broke into and searched her home. They confiscated two copies of Zhuan Falun as well as other Dafa books, and brought Ms. Wang to the police station. Ms. Wang refused to cooperate and was released. She came back home at around 4:30 p.m.
19. [Tonghe County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhao Fuguang Taken into Custody at His Home
At around 3:00 p.m. on September 12, 2006, four officials from the Security Department of Tonghe County, Heilongjiang Province drove to practitioner Zhao Guangfu’s home and arrested him.
20 [Xiangcheng City, Henan Province] Practitioner Hu Jianhua Forced to Become Destitute and Homeless
In December 2005, the Henan Province Police Department, the Xiangcheng City Security Bureau, and the Xiangcheng City National Security Brigade jointly monitored practitioner Mr. Hu Jianhua. They hired local thugs for 50 yuan per person per day to squat at the entrance of the alley leading to Hu Jianhua’s home and track him around the clock every day. This lasted for as long as eight months.
At around midnight on August 18, 2006, more than 20 police officers went to Hu Jianhua’s home to illegally ransack it. They found two compact discs of the 2006 Chinese New Year Gala produced by NTDTV. That same evening, a female practitioner was arrested, but she escaped with righteous thoughts. Practitioner Hu Jianhua has been forced to become destitute and homeless to avoid arrest.

23 [Jingmen, Hubei] Supplemental Information about the Illegal Confiscation of Practitioner Ms. An Lijuan’s Cousin's Sister's Property
It has now been verified that the three policemen who intruded into practitioner Ms. An Lijuan’s cousin’s sister’s home and ransacked the place were: Sun Dehong from the Yuelianghu Police Department of Jingmen City, security officer Zhang Jinbo from the petrochemical plant in Jingmen, and Liu Yong.
24 [Beijing] Over 60-year-old Practitioner He Yanhua Taken into Custody
Ms. He Yanhua, over 60 years old, lives at the courtyard of the High Energy Physics Institute on Yuquan Road, Shijingshan District. She is a retired staff member of the institute. On September 4, Ms. He was reported to the authorities while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials at the Yuquan Road area. She was arrested by the National Security Bureau, and her home was illegally ransacked. Presently, He Yanhua is imprisoned at the police department in Haidian District and the police are not allowing her family members to visit her.
25 [Chongqing] Four Practitioners from Yuzhong District Taken into Custody
On September 11, 2006, four practitioners from a Fa-study group in Yuzhong district, Chongqing City were arrested. They are: Ms. Nie Zhongmei (about 50 years old), Ms. Xu Wenxiu (over 50 years old), and two other practitioners whose situation is unclear.
26 [Panzhihua, Sichuan] Practitioner Gao Wenmin Taken into Custody
On April 13, 2006 at about 9:00 p.m., National Security policeman Qiu Tianming and others from the Panzhihua Municipal Police Department rushed into Ms. Gao Wenmin’s home. They turned the place upside down, confiscated Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials, and arrested Ms. Gao.
Gao Wenmin, 53 years old, started practicing Falun Gong in 1995. On April 24, 2000 she went to Beijing to validate Dafa and was arrested at Tiananmen Square. Upon returning to Panzhihua on May 2, she was detained at the municipal detention center. After being forced to write a guarantee letter (giving up the practice), she was released on May 16. Upon coming out, Ms. Gao was fined 700 yuan by policemen Zhang Dazhong and Zhang Wencai. In 2001 Gao Wenmin was reported to the authorities by the post office when she was mailing a picture of sending forth righteous thoughts to fellow practitioners. She was detained for 15 days by Zhang Dazhong and Wang Jian from the West Area police department.
On April 13, 2006, Gao Wenmin was arrested for the third time. This time, Ms. Gao was arrested because she told students about withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations in the classroom. This was reported to the authorities by a person named Wu Yanli. Ms. Gao has been illegally imprisoned at the Panzhihua Municipal Detention Center since then.
