Some practitioners who resisted the forced-feeding were gagged with rags and beaten, sometimes almost to death. How terrible and deadly these evil acts were.

In 2005, an elderly practitioner was tortured to death in bed. The guards told everyone not to let the truth get out.

In 2004, a 30 year-old practitioner, Wang Manli from Benxi City, Liaoning Province, was tortured to total blindness.

In 2005, practitioner Ms. Zhu Yun, over 30 years old and an engineer, was tortured until she lost control of her bodily functions, causing unbearable pain. She was also dragged around by some inmates at the instigation of the guards. Her current condition is unknown.
