1. [Jilin Province] The Persecution Falun Dafa Practitioners Suffer in the Jilin Province Prison
Nine Falun Dafa practitioners have been placed in the strictly controlled area of the Jilin Province Prison during July 2006. Mr. Liu Yang and two other practitioners are still being held there. The personnel tortured practitioners Mr. Jiang Tao, Mr. Wang Jian, Mr. Sun Qian from the No. 2 Ward first, and then Mr. Zhang Beiqi from the No. 7 Ward, followed by Mr. Tian Rukai and Ms. Liu Hong from the No. 1 Ward. The three practitioners demanded that the prison unconditionally release all the practitioners being held in the strictly controlled area and all practitioners being held in the Jilin Province Prison. As a result, Zhang Beiqi and Sun Qian were sent to the strictly controlled area and were tied to a "stretching bed." Sun Qian was not released until he was on the brink of death on September 2, 2006. A 73-year-old practitioner from Songyuan City was sent to the strictly controlled area only because he insisted on practicing the Falun Dafa exercises.

3. [Heilongjiang Province] Personnel at the Hulan Prison Cruelly Torture Practitioner Tang Jinghui
Practitioner Mr. Tang Jinghui, 34 years old, from Daqing City was arrested on April 1, 2005 and sentenced to three years of imprisonment. He was sent to the No. 2 Team, No. 9 Brigade in the Hulan Prison on July 22, 2005.
Tang Jinghui and several fellow practitioners did the meditation exercise in their cell on March 16, 2006. Zheng Hua, brigade political head, ordered some policemen and inmates to beat him severely on March 18, 2006. Tang Jinghui refused to do manual labor on March 19. Police officer Nie Xianzhong instructed some inmates to haul Tang Jinghui out of his cell and drag him on the concrete floor for dozens of meters. Tang Jinghui’s pants, inner cotton pants and even underwear were torn.

Practitioner Ms. Zhou Qiaohang from Qing’an City was arrested while working in Harbin City. She is now being tortured at the Heilongjiang Province Women’s Prison.
5. [Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Brutal Torture of Falun Gong Practitioners in Wulumuqi City Women’s Forced Labor Camp
Personnel of the Wulumuqi City Women’s Forced Labor Camp held a "transformation" class during June through September 2006, to force Falun Gong practitioner to give up their beliefs. They brutally tortured the practitioners who refused to transform. Guards at the labor camp instigate drug addicts to beat practitioners from time to time. The practitioners’ arms are often beaten and pricked swollen, and they also have swollen faces and black eyes. Practitioners Ms. Li Zheng, Ms. Li Hua, Ms. Ma Xiuhua, Ms. Yu Guifen and Ms. Yu Hongyan suffered cruel tortures.

7. [Xiongxian County, Hebei Province] A Woman Teacher Arrested - Her Whereabouts Unknown
Li Chengqun from the Xiongxian County 610 Office led a group of people to ransack the home of a practitioner who is a teacher of the No. 1 High School of Xiongzhou Town. The practitioner was not at home and avoided being arrested. However, she was arrested on November 18.

9. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Personnel at the Siping Prison Escalate Persecution of Practitioners
When a practitioner’s family members went to visit him/her at the Siping City Prison on November 20, 2006, they found personnel at the Shiling Prison in Jilin City had begun a new round of persecution of practitioners. Practitioner Mr. Liu Dapeng in the No. 12 Ward has been tortured to the point that he has difficulty sitting. He could not sit without holding on to something and suffers from severe back pain.
10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Jiao Xiaohua Arrested and House Ransacked
Practitioner Ms. Jiao Xiaohua from Hulan District in Harbin City went to visit a practitioner on November 15, 2006. Police waiting outside the practitioner’s home forcibly took from her the key to her home. They then confiscated her computer, a printer, a CD-burner, and a plate-making machine. On the same day, police waiting outside of practitioner Mr. Li Wenjie’s home arrested three practitioners: Mr. Li De, Mr. Sun Hongwei, and Ms. Zhang Shumin. In addition, practitioner Ms. Cui Xin and her husband were arrested. Cui Xin was released right afterward, but her husband is still in detention. Police confiscated a computer and a printer from Li Wenjie’s home.
11. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Su Wenling Arrested
Three practitioners, including Ms. Su Wenling from Tangchi Town, Donggang City, Liaoning Province, and a practitioner surnamed Zhuang from Donggang City were arrested when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials the night of November 19, 2006. Personnel from the city police department ransacked Ms. Su’s home at around 1:30 p.m. on November 20.
12. [Meishan City, Sichuan Province] A Practitioner Arrested and Home Ransacked
Chief Chen Wei, political head Wu Shu’an and Li Xianyi from the Wansheng Town Police Station in the Dongpo District, Meishan City, Sichuan Province broke into a local woman practitioner’s home at 6:00 p.m. on September 30, 2006. They ransacked her house and confiscated some truth-clarifying materials. They forcibly took her to the town’s police station and interrogated her for several hours. They then forced her to sign a document already written and supply her fingerprints. She was subsequently released.

13. [Da’an City, Jilin Province] Officials in the Education System Actively Persecute Falun Gong
Officials in the Da’an City Education System actively participate in the persecution of Falun Gong. They force students to sign documents defaming Falun Gong and read propaganda slandering Falun Gong. The Education Bureau colluded with the city 610 Office and distributed pamphlets slandering Falun Gong in July 2006. They handed each student a list in late September and ordered the students to fill in the names of their relatives who practiced Falun Gong. Li Aimin, the city’s Linjiang Police Station chief, presented a speech at the city’s No. 3 Middle School to incite the students’ hatred toward Falun Gong.

14. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Li Guilan Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Li Guilan, 61, retired in 2000, was a teacher at the Wenjiang District No. 540 Factory. Personnel from the Guangyuan City Police Department arrested her and ransacked her home at around 11:30 a.m. on November 2, 2006. She was put into the city’s detention center.
15. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Zhu Yong Persecuted at the Tangxunhu Brainwashing Center
Practitioner Mr. Zhu Yong, a former workshop chief at the Jikong Factory at the Wuhan City Steel Company, was arrested at his workplace on October 31, 2006. He is currently being held at the Tangxunhu Brainwashing Class.
16. [Nanping City, Fujian Province] Practitioners Lin Xiangmei and Wang Fuquan Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Lin Xiangmei and Mr. Wang Fuquan from Nanping City, Fujian Province were reported when posting truth-clarifying materials at Shunchang the evening of November 10, 2006. They did this to help rescue fellow practitioner Mr. Yang Liansheng. Personnel from the Chengguan Police Station arrested them and put them into a detention center in Shunchang.
Ms. Lin Xiangmei was transferred to the Nanping City Detention Center on the morning of November 11, 2006. She had previously been arrested on October 12, 2000, for clarifying the truth and distributing truth-clarifying materials, and had been sentenced to three and a half years of incarceration. She was released on April 11, 2004.
Currently, Mr. Wang Fuquan and Yang Liansheng are still being held at the Shunchang Detention Center.
17. [Yunnan Province] Lufeng County and Muding County Police Officials Harass Practitioners
Police officers from Lufeng County and Muding County in Yunnan Province broke into some practitioners' homes, and forced practitioners to attend brainwashing classes and write the so-called guarantee statement. Some police officers even ransacked practitioners' homes and threatened practitioners' family members, including children.

18. [Beijing] Practitioner Zhang Qinghua Relocated to an Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for Detention
Six special agents from the Pinggu District National Security Department arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Qinghua at his rented home in Donggaocun Town, Pinggu District, Beijing on January 7, 2006. Mr. Zhang was sent to the Beijing Forced Labor Dispatch Center on February 14 where he suffered a mental collapse. He has not been released however, but has instead been relocated to Inner Mongolia AR for further persecution.
19. [Shanghai] Practitioner Gao Qiongzhi Arrested
Personnel from the Pudong District Nanhui National Security Team arrested practitioner Mr. Gao Qiongzhi. It happened at the dorm community of the Gongyuan Construction Materials Factory located at No. 999 Kangqiao Eastern Road, Nanhui, Pudong District, Shanghai, at 2:00 p.m. on October 26, 2006.

Police from Datong City, Shanxi Province ransacked the homes of several practitioners on November 7, 2006, and arrested some of them. They are being held at a detention center.

22. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Practitioners Ding Lianshi and Cao Jianling Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Ding Lianshi and Ms. Cao Jianling were arrested when clarifying the truth at the Qiaodong District Business Block, Zhangjiakou City some time after 8:00 p.m. on November 8, 2006. Their homes were subsequently ransacked. They are presently being held at the Shisanli Detention Center.
23. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Tan Haiyan’s Whereabouts Unknown
Personnel from the Panzhihua City National Security Division arrested practitioner Ms. Tan Haiyan on April 4, 2006. At that time, a police guard from the city's detention center called Ms. Tan's home and told her family that she was being held there. Her parents went to visit her not too long ago, but the detention center authorities told them that Ms. Tan Haiyan was not there.
24. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Liu Guimei Arrested
Personnel from the National Security Team of the Anci District Police Department in Langfang City arrested practitioner Ms. Liu Guimei from Qiuzhuang Village, Langfang City, Hebei Province on the afternoon of November 13, 2006. Ms. Liu Guimei had just been released from a forced labor camp a few months prior.
