Experiences Clarifying the Truth in Hong Kong

Feb. 16, 2006 |   By a Dafa practitioner in Yilan, Taiwan

(Clearwisdom.net) In mid-December 2005, I went to Hong Kong to participate in truth clarification activities. Since I took the last flight of the day, it was already two o'clock in the morning when I arrived at the lodging place and went to bed. I got up at around 4:00 a.m. to do the exercises. Then I participated in a parade lasting the whole day and in the "Righteous Great Wall" activity at night. It was already 11:00 p.m. when I returned to our lodging place. I greatly admired the fellow practitioners who were in their seventies and eighties who also did not take any breaks and kept up with much younger people. They also did not get to eat their dinners until after they returned to the dorm. Manifesting a Dafa practitioner's characteristic style, each of them validated that Dafa is supernormal and supernatural.

There are not too many practitioners in Hong Kong, but they are very diligent. We shared our experiences with them and focused on studying the Fa well, sending out righteous thoughts and cooperating and coordinating with fellow practitioners. In this manner, we were able to efficiently rectify the field there. We got in touch with many Hong Kong police officers as part of our activities, and they were very friendly to us.

We made arrangements to gather outside the wall enclosing the compound where the Liberation Army in Hong Kong is stationed. We unfolded banners, clarified truth to the heads of state attending the WTO conference and exposed the crimes of the Chinese Communist Party persecuting Falun Gong. We practiced peacefully and had the chance to send forth righteous thoughts from a close distance to clear negative influences in other dimensions. The soldiers who passed by could clearly see the scene and our banners. I believe that they will be able to make a more rational judgment after seeing our display.

I last went to Hong Kong to clarify the truth one year ago. Last year, I was timid and had no practice clarifying the truth personally to tourists from mainland China. I was simply holding banners and sending forth righteous thoughts most of the time. This time, I was able to approach our compatriots from the mainland and clarify the truth to them. I especially tried to explain the true circumstances of the self-immolation hoax on Tiananmen Square. I first asked them some simple questions. For example, I explained that even blow drying hair for slightly too long will burn the hair, that gasoline explodes if a spark comes even close to it, and that skin is damaged when it is scalded, and therefore needs to be treated with ice or an anti-inflammatory. I pointed out that this is just common sense, and the people from the mainland all agreed. Then I showed them Wang Jindong in the film about the Tiananmen Square self-immolation. It wasn't just that the shape of the face in the video didn't match his picture; there were also other inconsistencies such as the bushy hair which didn't match Wang Jindong's and the gasoline bottle between his legs that never caught on fire, and so on. It was easy to tell at a glance that the video was fabricated and that the people were framed.

I also pointed out the girl who was swaddled in wraps. I mentioned that even a healthy person would not be able to tolerated being wrapped in this way, let alone a burn patient. Furthermore, why wasn't her trachea also scalded and why was she still able to talk and even sing? Finally, I talked about the part of the film that is shown in slow-motion in which a shadowy figure hits Liu Chunling. Many people understood the truth about the self-immolation. The recent incidents of police officers killing farmers in Shanwei completely exposed the violence, lies and evil inherent in the Chinese Communist Party. I also mentioned that there is no freedom of speech in mainland China and that the only reason we spend our own money coming to Hong Kong is to explain the truth to them. If Chinese living overseas do not speak up for their fellow Chinese whose voice is feeble, there won't be anyone else willing to help them.

After boarding their buses, the people from mainland China were still looking at the different kinds of display boards we were holding up. As they were leaving, many of them nodded and smiled at us. They waved goodbye and gave us their thumbs-up. I knew that this was an encouragement from Master. Tears sprang to my eyes, because I was so touched that Master arranged this environment for me to cultivate and improve, and for all those beings who were saved after understanding the truth.

The evil in other dimensions was almost completely cleared away. Only very few people swore at us. However, even if there was just a single person who insulted us, I told him that as a Chinese person he should be intelligent enough to understand that it is best to listen and observe before talking. I also said that I was sure he had the intelligence to judge who is righteous and who is evil.

Some of the tourists supported the Communist Party, saying that without it there would be no travel, no rockets to outer space, and no booming economy. I answered that without the Communist Party, all of these could have been realized several decades ago. Taiwan and Hong Kong do not have a Communist Party and they prospered a long time ago. I said that without the Communist Party and with the help of the Chinese people's diligence and intelligence, they would have achieved ten times more. Hearing my words, the tourists' original bluster disappeared completely.

Encouraging our fellow practitioners is also very important. After realizing the importance of our activities in Hong Kong through studying the Fa and sharing our thoughts, many other practitioners decided to go as well. We went strictly to clarify the truth and without the intention to go sightseeing, which we did last year. Clarifying the truth in one particular tourism spot also helped us to better adapt to the local environment. Whenever we participated in activities, we first considered how to best cooperate with fellow practitioners in Hong Kong. I could feel the happiness of gradually getting rid of my selfishness, and genuinely assimilating into my role as a Dafa particle, which made me feel as if I were floating and weightless.

I am grateful to Master who expanded my wisdom, and a fellow practitioner who encouraged me to speak out so that I was able to clarify the truth to my Chinese compatriots peacefully and compassionately. The fellow practitioner told me that this might be the only chance they might have to meet people from outside mainland China. It was such a precious chance waiting for us to clarify the truth. It would be truly regrettable if we had missed it. During the Lunar New Year, there are still many tourists from the mainland arriving in Hong Kong. They are waiting for us to clarify the truth to them.
