(Clearwisdom.net) I was once detained in the same prison as a practitioner named Li Huimin. Today I was saddened to hear that Li Huimin died as a result of the torture he was subjected to at the Jidong Prison in Hebei Province.
I would like to reveal to the world the inside story of Li Huimin's ordeal so that all kind-hearted people can clearly see the vicious nature of the Chinese Communist Party, and quit all of its affiliated organizations as soon as possible.
In August and September 2001, the Number 1 Branch of the Jidong Prison escalated their efforts to persecute the Falun Gong practitioners who were illegally detained there. Since Li Huimin resisted the persecution at the prison, the guards placed him in a small cell. Two officers at the prison, one named Zhang Fuliang and the other named Li Junlu, incited the prisoners to whip and beat Li Huimin on his eyes with a newspaper. They applied mentholated ointment to his eyes, which was very painful, and wouldn't let him sleep. He was kept in handcuffs. Despite this brutal treatment, Li Huimin refused to give up his belief in Falun Dafa.
Those involved in persecuting Li Huimin include the Political Commissar of the Jidong Prison whose name is Peng, the Education Section of the Jidong Prison, the Secretary General of the Number 1 Branch of Jidong Prison named Hu, Chen Xijiao, the Chief of the Number 1 Branch Prison, Zhang Fuliang of the Education Section of the Number 1 Branch Prison, a person named Xing from the Surveillance Section, Li Junlu from the Political Section of the Number 1 Branch, a guard named Lu and the prisoners of the Surveillance Section. One of the prisoners is named Leng Zhonghou.
On December 13, 2001, in order to force Li Huimin to write "the five statements" (similar to the three statements), officers Chen Xijiao and Li Junlu of the Number 1 Branch Prison again placed Li Huimin in the small cell. There was no heat in the small cell, and Li Huimin had to sleep on the wooden floor. He was handcuffed, and whenever he went to the bathroom there were four or five prisoners with him. When he went back, the prisoners would remove Li Huimin's shirt and pants, claiming that they were searching him.
One day, when Li Huimin refused to eat, a guard named Lu shoved a piece of steamed cornbread into Li Huimin's mouth. They pinched Mr. Li's nose so that he could barely breathe. That time, the authorities jailed Li Huimin for more than two weeks. All he was given to eat each day was a piece of bread and a piece of pickle about two centimeters square.
Li Huimin has left us. Now it's our responsibility to stop this evil persecution.
