(Clearwisdom.net) At 1:00 p.m. on May 13, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Ottawa and Montreal assembled in Zhongshan Park in Chinatown, Montreal to celebrate the 14th anniversary of Master's starting to spread Falun Dafa, and wish Master happy birthday. After the rally in the park, practitioners had a parade on the main streets in Montreal.

During the rally, practitioners demonstrated the exercises, and performed singing, dancing, and waist drum playing. The Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper, sent a greeting letter to practitioners. In the letter, he said, "On the occasion of World Falun Dafa Day, I am happy to extend my best wishes to the many Falun Gong practitioners who live and work in Canada and who contribute to our national diversity."
A practitioner who was passing out materials told the reporter that she had a chance to learn about Falun Dafa when practitioners had a parade on this street last year, and then she also started practicing. Today, it is her first time attending a practitioners' group activity. She hopes that more and more people will learn the truth about Falun Dafa.
