1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Detong and Other Practitioners Have Been Arrested
On May 26, 2006, practitioner Mr. Wang Detong, over 50 years old, from the Sifang District, in Qingdao City, was illegally arrested with another practitioner by police from Licang District Police Department of Qingdao City. He is currently being held at the Dashan Detention Center, Qingdao City.
It was reported that around May 20, 2006, practitioners Ms. Liu and Ms. Liu (the surnames of these two practitioners are different in Chinese characters but have the same pronunciation) from Jiaozhou Road, Qingdao City, were arrested by the police.

2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Ou Yunjie and Her Mother Have Been Sentenced to Prison
In the afternoon on June 1, 2006, the Shinan Court of Qingdao City sentenced practitioner Ms. Ou Yunjie to eight years of imprisonment and Ms. Liu Zhirong to three years.
3. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information on Five Practitioners Who Are Facing Illegal Trials
Five practitioners will be tried at Xiangyang Court in Hegang City at 9 o’clock in the morning on June 9, 2006
These practitioners are Mr. Shang Xiping from Huanan, Ms. Liu Liping from Daqing, Ms. Yang Yongying, Mr. Hu Guijie, and Mr. Zhao Guiyou. They were arrested on September 7, 2005 ,when they were having an experience sharing conference. They have been detained at Hegang City Detention Center for more than nine months.
4. [Shanghai City] Practitioner Ms. Jiang Suying Has Been Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Jiang Suying, over 60 years old, from the Hongkou District, Shanghai City, was arrested by the Jiaxing Police Department, the 610 Office of the Hongkou District, and the National Security Division on her way to a meeting. On the second day of her detention, she had symptoms of high blood pressure and a urinary tract infection. The detention center refused to accept her so the evildoers kept her in the Tilanqiao Prison Hospital.
In the evening, Li Chunhua and seven to eight others from the National Security Division switched the power off and deceived Ms. Jiang’s husband, Mr. Lu, into opening the door. Then they grabbed Mr. Lu by the throat and began to ransack the house. Afterwards they took Mr. Lu away. The following day, they tortured Mr. Lu in order to extort a confession. Even today Mr. Lu still suffers from the injuries.
Ms. Jiang’s son, Mr. Lu Weidong, was sentenced in a closed door trial to three and a half years imprisonment. He is now in Tilanqiao Prison in Shanghai.

5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Dailijun Is Now Detained at the Changchun No. 3 Detention Center
Practitioner Ms. Dai Lijun from Changchun was arrested from her home on May 17, 2006, by officers from Changtong Road Police Station, and is now detained at the Changchun City No. 3 Detention Center. The police took away her portraits of Teacher Li Hongzhi, some Falun Dafa materials, and books.
6. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Xia Aixiang, Her Husband, and Her Daughter Have Been Arrested
In mid May 2006, Congtai Police Department, Handan City, Hebei Province; Congxi Police Station; and the neighborhood committee broke into Ms. Xia’s house and arrested all three members of the family and ransacked the house.
Now Ms Xia Aixiang is being held and persecuted at the City No. 1 Detention Center. Her husband, Mr. Wei, and daughter, Ms. Wei Wenjuan, were taken to a brainwashing center.
7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhou Yuxiu Is Suffering from Persecution After Being Sent to Pixian County Detention Center
Practitioner Ms. Zhou Yuxiu, 65 years old, was arrested on May 24, 2006, after being followed. Her house was ransacked. In the evening of the same day she was sent to Pixian County Detention Center to undergo brainwashing.
8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhengzhou Has Been Arrested by the Police from Xin’andu Police Station
On April 9, 2006, practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhengzhou from Xin’andu, Dongxihu District, Wuhan City, was arrested while handing out truth-clarification materials. The police from the Xin’andu Police Station were responsiblle. In order to find out where Mr. Zhang got the truth-clarification materials they released him the same day he was arrested.
On April 10, Mr. Zhang was arrested again while working in the fields. He was detained at the Wujiashan No. 2 Detention Center in the Dongxihu District, Wuhan City, and then transferred to Etouwan Brainwashing Center.

9. [Shantao City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Ms. Wei Ping Is Taken to Wuhan Brainwashing Center by Shantao City 610 Office
At 5 a.m. On May 26, 2006, five officials from the Shantao 610 Office broke into practitioner Ms. Wei Ping’s house in Baimiao, Guohe Township, and arrested her. Ms. Wei has been sent to Wuhan Brainwashing Center for further persecution.
10. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Practitioners Mr. Xue Jiabi and Ms. Li Qinfang Were Arrested in May 2006 while Handing Out Truth Clarification Materials. They Are Now Being Held at the Kunming Drug Rehabilitation Forced Labor Camp.
11. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Recent Developments in the Case of Practitioner Ms. Tian Ling
Ms. Tian Ling is now being held at the Jiangan District 610 Office Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City. Her mother insists on giving the brainwashing center 600 yuan every month to keep her daughter there. Ms. Tian’s health is getting worse.

12. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Ms. Yu Huihua Has Been Arrested by the Railway Police
About 3 or 4p.m. on May 19, 2006, police officers from the Macheng Railway Station National Security Section climbed over the wall and forced their way into practitioner Ms. Yu Huihua’s home on Xingfu Road in Macheng City. They looted Ms. Yu’s house and took away money, a TV set ,and a DVD player. They also smashed the wardrobe. Then they arrested Ms. Yu Huihua and took her to the Railway Police Department for questioning. This is the third arrest by the Macheng Railway Police Department after the arrests of Ms. Xiang Jinping and Ms. Zhang Zihua.

13. [Daxin County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region] Practitioner Ms. Xu Yinhua Has Been Persecuted by the 610 Office and the National Security Division
The 610 Office of Daxing County's Political and Judiciary Committee and the National Security Division is persecuting practitioner Ms. Xu Yinhua by threatening to arrest and detain her if she refuses to tell them where she got her truth-clarification materials.
Ms. Xu Yinhua’s husband, Nong Xueyao, who is working at the Security Division of the County Police Department, beat Ms. Xu brutally and drove her out of the house. He ransacked his own house in an attempt to find the truth-clarification materials.

14. [Shanghai City] On the Morning of May 30, 2006, Practitioner Ms. Chen Yaoqin Was Arrested from Home by Several Policemen from Sanquan Police Station and Her House Was Ransacked.
15 [Yunfu City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Mr. Lai Zhenxian’s Detention Has Been Extended
Practitioner Mr. Lai Zhenxian from Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, was arrested on February 27, 2006, and sent to Yunfu Detention Center, where he was sentenced to three years of forced labor. He was escorted to Sanshui Forced Labor Camp and has since suffered from all sorts of torture. His term of detention is now three months overdue.
In September 2005, Mr. Lai’s wife, Ms. Li Shaozhen, was arrested and sentenced to two years of forced labor and is now being held at the Sanshui Women’s Detention Center.
16 [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Practitioner Mr. Huang Xiangli Has Been Arrested and Sent to a Brainwashing Center
At about 10 a.m. on May 29, 2006, retired employee of the Nanning Chemical Group in Guangxi Mr. Huang Xiangli was tricked by the Party Secretary of the Retirement Office into entering the secretary's office office "to have a talk." The 610 Office, the National Security Division. and the Political and Judiciary Committee then arrested him. They took him to a "guest house," where he was forced to undergo brainwashing.
