(Clearwisdom.net) The cultivation environment in our area is comparatively relaxed. We do the exercises together. Lately, for some period of time, I have slackened my efforts in doing the exercises. I did not want to get up even when I heard the alarm clock ring. I thought it was ok to miss one day, or when it was raining, and I thought it was too slippery to walk. All in all, I used many excuses to hide my own laziness. I knew clearly that it was not right, but I could hardly break through this state of cultivation. Some fellow practitioners around me also had this kind of cultivation state.
Master said in "Teaching the Fa in the City of Los Angeles,"
"Back at that time, I wanted the transformation of the surface body to be in sync with the part that has been well-cultivated; I wanted to have the body be disassociated with the human state during cultivation; and I wanted to have the cultivating disciples use their own righteous thoughts to maintain a state that is just like that of human beings. Over these issues I was at an impasse with them for a year."
I have enlightened to the principle that for the past few years when fellow practitioners have a state of cultivation that is not diligent, we are all walking on the path arranged by the old forces. We were not able to break through its interference. If Dafa practitioners' physical bodies can all change with the improvement of our own cultivation, this would have a very good effect in validating the Fa. However, the old forces stop us tightly in this respect. As a result, we always feel tired or lazy. We do not want to do the exercises. We should completely deny and reject these old force arrangements. Just as Master said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference,"
"Of course, we don't acknowledge any of the things that the old forces arranged--I as your master don't acknowledge them, and Dafa disciples of course don't acknowledge them either."
Then what should we do specifically? First of all, we should understand clearly in our minds that it is not ourselves who do not want to do the exercises. It is not our true selves. It is the old forces that force this onto us. We should not acknowledge it. Besides, studying the Fa and doing the exercises is one of the three things that Master requires us to do well. We should do it well with no conditions.
For example, cultivation is just like a machine. When there is a part of the machine that becomes loose, it will interfere with the function of the whole machine. So in our actual cultivation, if we have one thing that we do not do well, we may not be able to cultivate diligently. We should break through the interference of the old forces, and walk righteously on the path arranged by Master. We should cultivate more diligently in the final stage of our cultivation until we reach Consummation.
